GAMEDAY - Round 21 (GROUNDHOG DAY)

Featured Replies

There it is. Good win boys

This is a classic case of a team getting ahead of itself and getting too cocky, cute and going away from the things that put us in front in the first place.

Garlett needed that so badly.

Hey guys.

We're going to win.

On their home ground. We don't win away you remember.

Against Port. We don't beat Port anywhere except the NAB cup.

Three in a row.

Anyone still whingeing?

This. He's been dreadful.

And he gets the sealer with the only thing he has done all day.

Footy eh

Thats the Garlett we know and love.

Much better!

3 in a Row? Too early?

Too little too late from Garlett, though at least he makes his count. Hogan on the other hand.............

I'd keep Hogan in next week though, bring in Weed as FF. Good chance for our you KPP's to play on similarly inexperienced players' for Carlton.

Not now. But we've been in danger a lot of the night tonight and we're super lucky that they are 2-3 men down and complete shite to boot.

Based on the comments here I just assumed we lost by 186 points. You could imagine my surprise when I find out that we've had a great win.

Keeping Port to 48 points. Great defensive effort. Re-signing round.

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
