You lucky bugger.

If we win I will skinny dip off a beach in far western Victoria. At night, to save the eyesight of the locals.

that is a far tougher thing to do.

If we beat Hawthorn...I look forward to the articles in the newspapers in mid-2017 which will refer to this game as the turning point which saw the end of the most recent successful Hawthorn era.

Double down on my bet the dees win the 2018 grand final

Become a Monk and live in a cave for the remainder of my days.

Eagerly await Clarko's angry press conference and all the Hawthorn fans walking out of the ground saying "We would have won if we'd had Roughy and Poppy".

Break the Guinness book of records for the amount of replays watched over the next month...

... not be entirely surprised, but bloody excited.

It will be reminiscent of the flogging we handed out to the Swans late 2010 when we were being called the next powerhouse.. only this would be much more special and we pray its not another false dawn.

If we win, I will donate 1000 days of water to a needy community in Africa.

Here you go, I promise this is a fair dinkum project, well run, on good principles.

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.
