Anyone going to bother watching tonight?

Bruuuuuce is on form early tonight.    " I was just thinking about Cyril............. I often do. "    Don't we all????

It's gunna be a boring as bat shitz and I won't be watching.

Ess get a Friday night game and we don't.

GGF AFL.

Nice to see Essendrug rewarded with Friday night games.  Well done AFL, a great example youre setting as always.

Not an easy round as far as tips go.

I ended up going:

Hawks
Dogs
Lions
Roos
Crows
Blues
Tigers
Giants
Dee's

Umpiring is unfathomable....

Kicks that barely go 5 metres paid, head highs let go, Hawks throwing the ball, and our mate in his 2nd game cons the ump for a mark this time....etc.etc.

I wonder if they'll still have Friday night games next year. Had the sanction been handed down pre-fixture release, they'd probably have none, but they might be tempted to show the new "full strength Essendon with a chip on their shoulder" for some big games

To me it showed the inflexibility of the AFL...they knew preseason that this would happen and needed to make changes to the fixture then.

We lost to this rabble of a football club.

Fair [censored] dinkum it shits the life out of me.

No not at all, very serious episode.

Will just be curious to see which number ends up be greater. The running time of SVU with the added 20min to allow for programs running over, or the margin of the match.

I t6hink I tipped a 75 point winning margin to the Hawks.  On track at the moment.

Will the clowns who adjudicate our great game EVER be called into account? Tonight it is 19 and 32 who have running around for what seems like for ever making mind numbing decisions over and over again. And I'm sure they'll be back next week making their "two errors" per game.

Tune i next to see Woosha's half time address.

But on a serious note they just showed some of the things Neale said to our boys when he spoke to them during the week.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
