Haha delusional..

GNF was quite obviously just taking the [censored] and many people on here were just dumb enough to fall for it.

Look at the way he carried like a complete Fwit with his games of riddles to see he is nothing but a fraud.

But you don't know that he's wrong, so how can you say he was delusional?

i can't think of the players GNF suggested we went after but it was Prestia, Dangerfield and Kennedy correct? because two it became public that we did chase them.

I think it really comes down to a simple matter of, if you don't rate/like his posts don't read them.

if you're calling people delusional without really knowing yourself you just look silly.

GNF obviously has a good source who can tell him what's being discussed within the club from day to day.

But just because it's being discussed within the club doesn't mean it always come to fruition. Some things have come to fruition (Roos), some things haven't (Dangerfield, who I'm sure we made a huge play for at the time, but couldn't quite get it over the line).

The most useful things he's likely to post is when what is floating around in the ether as a rumour becomes more grounded.

And either his source isn't going to tell him anything too sensitive, or if he does, GNF has the good sense not to post it on an open forum.

The JH episode is a great example. All that's happened is that JH has indicated that he's prepared to start negotiating his contract. This is a significant move forwards from the sort of "will he won't he" speculation to date, but it doesn't guarantee the result, or determine the terms of the contract. Obviously both parties are keen to get it right, even if it takes several months. But perhaps it won't. At any rate, it's great that Jesse's ready to talk, but that's all it is.

If certain posters want to build it up to be more than it is so they can tear it down, or want to shoot the messenger, so be it. But it's good news & I'm pleased to justtake it at face value, but not to make it out to be any more than it is.

You dont know that he's right either.

Did you really honestly thought that because GNF said Dangerfield was a genuine chance you actually believed that? Dangerfield was as good as a Geelong player mid 2015 when he informed the Crows internally that he was heading. Geelong knew that had it was just a matter of officially saying 'yes i want to be a cat'

Yes we talked to his management but that was it.. It was a "Thanks but no thanks"....

And Josh Kennedy?? .. Please another fairy tale that sucked you right in. Josh Kennedy was 0% chance mate. You were just dumb enough to fall for his childish games.

Sorry to interject but Dangerfield would have come to MFC at the end of 2014 if we'd have got the deal done with Adelaide. Club made a huge play at him, went on an absolute charm offensive to him and his family. He rates our list. The Trengove pick (I think it was 9) from Richmond would have been on-traded to Adelaide along with our pick 3 which was used on Brayshaw.

I don't understand all the hate for posters who drip feed us rumours from their 'sources'. Right or wrong, they're like the best aspect of reading demonland so long may they continue

Like I said earlier faulty, people believe what they want. When it's positive, everyone jumps on it and believes it. Sometimes common sense has to come into play.

I'm happy to be "just dumb enough to fall for it".

I just don't think it's as big a deal as you make out. It's just giving us outsiders a small peek into what's being discussed within the club. That's all.

The golf story however, is not as b.s worthy.

So Dangerfield told you the exact details of what picks was going to be used from the dees and the tigers and he knew exactly what was happening to Jack Trengove future.

I can't believe how everything on here is analysed to death.

Based on previous bits of news, including Roos coming to us, it is possible that GNF knows someone within the club, who has heard a bit of news, that is not earth shattering or confidential.

He has shared what he can with us, leave it at that.  If he is proved wrong then everyone can take him to task.

I don't disbelieve him/her per se, but I must say that the quality of posting disappoints.

I don't get any rumours from within the club, but if I did I'd be very careful how I handled them.  I certainly wouldn't post them if I had a skerrick of doubt and I wouldn't post them in a 'look at me' 'look at me' attention seeking fashion, which seems to be a core objective of said poster.  But with fanboys worshiping said rumours one can almost understand.

Actually, wait.

What did geelong trade for Danger? #3 & #9 wasn't enough from us, but what geelong gave was ok?

I might need to reevaluate my opinion of the authenticity of your original post

Do you honestly believe MW played golf with Dangerfield, during which they discussed Dangerfield coming to Melbourne and the picks it would have taken?

Do you realise how crazy this is.

Do I think that it's impossible that Dangerfield has ever played golf? No

Do I think that one of his golfing partners may have been a Dees supporter? No

Do I think that a Dees supporting person would fail to ask Danger about Melbournes approach, if they did in fact play golf with him? Hell no.

Why the attitude?

Yes. Do you really think players have no idea of the machinations of trade deals?

Managers keep them informed of most of the details of prospective trades when they're looking to move on or when clubs are enquiring about them - obviously what money they're offering but also what their current club is asking for in a trade in terms of players and/or picks and what their prospective club is willing to give up to get the deal done.

I'm confused as to how people would not understand that?

Mate Danger nominated Geelong of his club of choice. He has said his whole career he wanted to go to Geelong to be near his home and where he grew up. You honestly expect us to beleive he would have happily walked to the Dees and done a complete backflip if we had pick 12 instead of 23?

Pick 12 was for Jake Lever who Roos rated highly.

And do you think a current player would just openly talk about another clubs details and information in regards to other clubs trading details to strangers on a golf course? Spare me..

For all we know pick 12 from Richmond was the pick for Jake Lever who Roos and Taylor rated extremely highly for his leader but weren't prepared to use pick 2 or 3 on him because of his injuries history. They knew that Lever would slide and by gaining pick 12 it would be the perfect pick for him.

Had we got pick 12 Lever would be currently wearing res and blue.

This was end of 2014, when the Crows were still hopeful they'd be able to get Danger to extend his deal during 2015 so didn't feel under any enormous pressure to get rid of him.

GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti
