I'm very clear on this

If we are going to get him i think he is a great pick up.

If we aren't i think he is total dud and i was never vaguely interested in getting him.

Same applies to Amon and Langdon.

That's funny. Because I believe if we pick up any of those players they are clearly unwanted duds and will only clog our list. Watch them become superstars if they go to any other club though.

You are the ying to my yang.

Or as you might say I'm your yang to your ying.

I’m no Jenkins fan but he would have been very handy to have this season.

But I believe he’ll die if he walks out of the goal square at Adelaide Oval so it won’t happen.

Take it or leave it, i have heard it, i never professed to say where or who from, I'm in the industry and just repeating it because i thought that might be of interest on a page dedicated to possible Josh Jenkins availability. Go figure..

Where exactly, doing what? It's easy to say that.

yeah it is very easy to say that i agree, and i can understand the cynical nature that people might have, so probably shouldn't have said anything, because i don't really want to say what i do  and as a result of that i am happy to accept the negative comments that come my way, its a case of no one really is going to believe it anyway.

Are you Goody?

I'd take him.

A noted 2 goal a game goal kicker.

Have no faith in Weideman, and T Mac needs support.

We simply can't have a repeat of rounds 22 and 23 again when we literally ran out of key forwards. The situation was that dire that we couldn't even play O Mac as a forward because even he was injured after T Mac, Weed, T Smith and Petty.

Wow! They must think that their premiership cat-flap is still open.

Surely they can't play both Hawkins and Jenkins in the same team

I was thinking the same.

Why would they need Jenkins?

Maybe because Hawkins hit blokes in the back of the head and gets suspended??

He's on decent coin with 2 years left (I think). Even if the Crows picked up some of it, he'd still take up a fair bit of cap space for what he's really worth

If they’re into Jenkins then they’ve obviously decided their list is not good enough and they’re now tanking. No other explanation...

Please no! This bloke can't take a grab and only ever gets the one out the back!

There is a reason the crows are happy to let him walk!

Jenkins is a poor mans Chris Dawes

In the article it he said he'd take a pay cut, probably not much but you would assume a longer term for lower $.

I'd rather have magilla the gorilla in the side than Jenkins.

  • AFLW REPORT: Gold Coast

The forecast said wind. The ladder said mismatch. The scoreboard said obliteration. Melbourne didn’t just beat Gold Coast — they dismantled them: 13.15 (93) to 0.6 (6). An 87-point obliteration, the Suns held goalless, and the Demons delivering their second-highest winning margin and third-highest score in AFLW history.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #28 Will Verrall

It was a tough ask for him to break through as a 199cm ruckman in the shadow of an all-time great in that position who is also the club captain. He had some good days at Casey but was unable to progress and was delisted at the end of the season.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #29 Tom Campbell

The 33-year-old Campbell has yet to play AFL football for Melbourne, but his Casey form has been strong and he has been retained as a ready-made ruck depth option who is widely regarded as someone who is excellent for the culture of the club.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #30 Harry Sharp

The Demons acquired an interesting player in Sharp, who narrowly missed securing a spot in the Lions’ premiership team last year. The 22-year-old medium forward played in the opening round this season and ended up with 18 senior games, although he was substituted in or out in for ten of those matches. He demonstrated glimpses of form, but ultimately ended the year on the margins of the team.

Worked his way back after a slow start and a further slump in form going into the midseason but became a solid contributor for the club in the latter half of 2025. Closing in on 300 goals for the club.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Gold Coast

On Friday, the Demons return to our Casey Fields fortress where they have a 77% win rate. The scent of September is in the air and the struggling Suns are on the horizon. The Cranbourne weather forecast? Ominous, like the match itself: a strong chance of carnage. Let’s be honest, last week’s first half against the West Coast was a training drill but we dropped our guard in the final quarter. While this match is a mismatch on paper — second versus seventeenth — football is won in the wind, the contests, and the moments.
