Just curious to see what people are planning for this in-between footyless weekend. Might give me some ideas on how to fill my time before the footy binge-watching begins.

I'm out of town, Jamieson. But if not I'd be seriously contemplating heading to the VFL practice match. 15 of our young players lining up together would be worth watching IMO

I hope lots of Demonlanders will be doing exactly that hb.  Being an 'interstater', I'll be hanging out for lots of informed reports and opinions.

Me ! Mindless boozing. Biffen _ Mindless drugs. dc - shagging greyrinsers. old dee - drinking free pinot. redleg - watching redtube. SWYL - Dreaming of the phillipines . W Jack - probably trying to cash in on the Mafia slayings. Dr. John - leading some sort of sexually charged pagan festival in Hopping Dicks. Moonie - jacking off for sure. 'luded - strange bastard - doing some alien [censored].  Moonie - in case you missed it - jacking off for sure. Earl Hood - inspecting hairstyles - FMD that is weird.

What a bunch of sickos.

By any logic the whole site should be closed down.

Mixing anything culturally evolved in with the mindless boozing, Bitter?

Good work dc!! I love the way you drop these sensible/factual posts in from time to time to cover the fact that you are an old perv!

I will be doing what my name suggests, spending it out in the middle of the ocean reading Demon land and the Demons website for hours a day as I don't get a chance to watch any live footy haha

Watch city play tomorrow night at aami. Get on the sauce after.

Rest of weekend... Replays of old Dees matches

Bike ride for me before my old (now folded) cricket club has its AGM at a Richmond pub. Annual excuse for a mighty pi55 up. Numbers are usually pretty good because of the aversion therapy - if you're not there by mid arvo you get a barrage of texts saying 'soft co*k'.

Heading down to watch the final round of the SRA spintcars series at Simpson speedway! :)

Preseason training for me. Cycle to the G. Lock bike up. Check total travel time upon arrival at locked gates. Turn around and go and find somewhere to drink copious C.Draught for 3 hours. Attempt to cycle home.

I'll be at home brooding that there's no football on after a pointless month of empty flirting while imaging just how much the end of season bye before the finals is really going to destroy any neutral interest.

Don't worry Moondogs, I'll probably have a bat at some point as well.

I'll be in Sydney for the weekend for a baby shower. The timing couldn't be better.

Might even watch some NRL.

Give a toot as you go past. I'm going up the hill (Mt Buller) for a preemptive pre-season spousal make up for the footy season to come. (nothing like getting in early)

I'm doing nothing other than getting into mindless, circular arguments about a game where grown men try and kick an inflated ball through big bits of wood,  with other mindless Demonlanders

I might spend the weekend trying to work out why a "now folded" cricket club is even having an AGM.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
