Don’t want to ruin your day, but there was a bit of gossip that the Pies are into Ben King.

Hopefully that isn’t true.

...the point, I think, being, #34 becomes vacant...

This thread was started in February 2016, when Kalani was just eight years old.

It will be a major letdown if he isn't in Demon colours in 2026.

Should someone check over on 'Sunland' whether a thread was started after a candlelight dinner around 2007?

Some DA members at the airport today were talking to Kalani. He told them he’s looking forward to playing for Casey towards the end of the season. The boy’s a Demon, no doubt about it ♥️💙🥳

If he elects GC we will be very peed off with the Northern Academies.

I don't think Tom Flower will mind one little bit!!😂

How likely is it we even draft him, seems to have very little buzz about him

Showed enough in 1 quarter at VFL level that he's a draftable talent, especially with his level of athleticism

The idea that Kalani was ever playing anywhere but Melbourne was fanciful.

How was Sam Darcy in his pre draft year? Can we dare to dream?

good enough to be nominated at #2 in his draft, ahead of naicos

he's a cheat code that kid

Have seen enough for me to say the kid CAN play and will be a fine player!

I hope we leave the kid alone and let him develop, without the weight of expectations put on him by DL.

He is not a saviour, but rather just another promising kid, nothing more. There are no guarantees on becoming an AFL player just because you make an AFL list.

Jed Adams and Seston are examples of that, though they still can make it if they keep improving.

How'd he go today, anyone know?

Except they weren’t even a club in 2007. Actually, they’re still not a club, they’re a franchise, and I said as much to a group of blokes at halftime in the designated smoking section last week. They didn’t get angry, in fact they said they pitied me for paying to come all this way to watch my sch!tt team lose. I had no counterpunch. They won 😭😭😭

Yeah I thought of a bunch of comebacks… after the event. At the time all I could think was bro’s right, I did come a long way to see a loss. I was gonna say yeah well the game’s not over yet, is it. But had I said that I just know I’d run into the same blokes after the match. 😅

It’s annoying when the perfect comeback cones to mind later Ron.

You can get these non taste mixers for a small remuneration. They have em in Eastern Eu.

Only saw about 25 minutes of the game and only saw him 2-3 times.

Stats were 11 disposals 6 kicks 5 handballs. 6 marks. 2 tackles.

He’s okay. Others are starring but all MFC need is for him to stay healthy and be happy and pick the Dees. He will take time in spend two years getting his body up to rigors of AFL footy. Hopefully only have to match a bid in the 40s/50s.

  • REPORT: Carlton

The text messages started flooding in shortly after quarter time. One read: “Is Melbourne even at the ground?” Moments later, as Carlton’s Elijah Hollands kicked the first goal of the second term, the Blues held a commanding 43-point lead. By then, the Demons’ only score was a behind kicked by Brody Mihocek nearly five minutes into the game. Ironically, Mihocek would also register the last minor score of the day after the game took a dramatic turnaround.
