Not always. According to the stats on effective rebuttal, 73.8% of statistics offered as proof in support of a particular point of view may or may not be effective. This means that only 26.2% are either totally effective or totally ineffective. I'm not sure what this means in terms of effective disposal but it does bring into question the veracity of your assertion.

I love Jack, but mostly on a sentimental level. There's no way he's an elite player. I'm sorry. That word is bandied around a little too much. I watched him in 2010 and 2011. He was a promising youngster with good skills, good decision making and a ferocious attack at the ball and man. 

I hope he can become a solid role player back there. I don't see him in our midfield though. At least not on the front line, but he's a smart footballer and I hope that gets him through.

Oliver will be our Sam Mitchell. Trenners has never won it enough to be a Mitchell type player.

Just a matter of consistency with Dom before he solidifies his A grade status and with Viney being tagged, it means he and Oliver will prove to be really troublesome for oppositions. You can't tag them all.

All under 25 years and all yet to hit the 100 game mark. Looking at that it has serious potential to become a lethal potent midfield brigade.

Viney and Tyson are now showing what a couple years in the system will do to you if developed properly. I cannot wait to see what Brayshaw Tracca Oliver and Stretch will do once they that get around that 50 to 70 games mark.

 

TRENNERS!!!

Made a couple of really poor errors, but seems to mostly have the speed of the game. The one other thing I would say is he's not quite up to the speed of our ball movement, but that will come. Great to see him kick that goal. Hope he can run out the four quarters today.

You can't take smarts away from a player. 

He still has a good feel of the game and an ability to find time. 

Loved his goal. 

Deserves a good 6-7 game run to get back into it

He's working his way into it, 9 tackles today shows he's working hard.

He'll get better each week but I don't think we'll see his best until next year, glad he's back.

Was probably our best in the quarter that won the game for us.

I'm still off him. I still think the lack of pace will break him. But I have a glimmer of hope that he finds a Mitchell-style engine to be a useful in and under. His goal, and then his long kick to Watts, on a day when we showed one of our big weaknesses (skill) was why. Too skilled and smart not to be given the time to find out what he's got when he's 100%.

He had the cleanest hands of anyone today in a game handballs were over used.

Playing on a wing doesn't suit him. But 9 tackles is great effort.

His kicking looked like it lacked penetration which was worrying, given the past, but his tackling and positioning were first class. Jury still out I think, but he's making progress no doubt. Fingers crossed for Jack, we couldnt have a better bloke around the club.

This is my Dees highlight of 2016. I am  a huge fan of Trenners, and watching him kick that goal gives me a huge dose of satisfaction. 

The game today must have felt so good to N Jones, Watts and Trenners after all the carp they have put up with at our club.

Yep. He, Gawn and Kent set us up in that second quarter.

Yep, is still as tough as any of our other guys. Needs to find a little bit of pace but is tracking well. So great to see him back out there and the boys getting around him after that goal was a beautiful sight.

Was on 7 tackles and 9 possies at half time, so had 2 more tackles and 4 disposals in the 2nd half. But had a great 2nd qtr

So good to have Jack back...his on ground leadership is invaluable in this young team.

Watching him direct players around the stoppages was good to see along with the respect his teammates obviously have for him.

That kick to Watts was sublime and his hands in close were very good today.
