I think he is a good prospect and would be worth looking into. Great size and a good tackler. Not sure why he didn't get a run once Campo took the reins, he was pretty good until then. Some knowledgeable Adelaide fans I know rate him highly.

Big bodied mid.

Again, handy depth, but out of him, Bugg, Kennedy & Melksham, Eliis-Yolem's the one I'm least excited about. By some way.

Very surprised he could be leaving Adelaide... I thought his first half of the year was excellent.

Sigh. I know, I know, we need depth. But if we get Melksham, Ellis-Yolmen, Kennedy and Bugg, that's a lot of depth that's not really having a huge impact on the starting 22.

At least we'll have a ready B grader to replaced every B grader who goes down injured right?

I think he'll be a good player, he is only 22. I thought he had a reasonable year - especially the start of the year. There are a few flaws in his game, but they are only minor flaws, and should naturally improve with experience. I hope we land him, Adelaide will want our second rounder.

Well thats the whole point in building list depth, so you would hope so, yeah. Better than having F graders replacing our injured B graders.

He's a genuine big body in the midfield. That could be handy. But there's only so many spots in there and we need classy guys who win the ball around the ground not just those who block it up at stoppages.

I like the idea of Jones, Vince, Viney and Tyson with rotations from Brayshaw, Vanders, Petracca etc.

If Ellis-Yolmen can't hold down a spot in the team playing most of his minutes forward then I don't know that he's worth getting. Bernie could play wing or half back but then we are taking a class player away from the ball and requiring on lesser types to get the footy to him.

One of Hawthorn's big advantages is that Hodge, Mitchell and Lewis are around the ball so much and use it so well. They have a luxury that we certainly don't but barring a couple of exceptions they just don't pick players who can't use the ball well and instead back in their good ball users to win their share. It might be wise for us to do the same.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

    TRAINING: Thursday 9th January 2025

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan.
