NRL pre match - Just watched Chisel finish off their set with Bow River. Great stuff. What was the name of the talentless lip syncher we flew from the UK for our pre match? And Bryan Adams has the charisma of Kevin Rudd.

Not sure of her name but she blamed technical issues.

Do you think Meatloaf was sitting at home thinking "Why the [censored] didn't I think of that?"

Edit: I think her name was Ella Goldberg

Mossy still has it. Barnesy was in good form as well. Apparently the new album's pretty good too. Name escapes me.

Left the David Neitz Bar as she was finishing. Heard it was a masterstroke.

Meth Coast getting beat was the best part, they will improve as will others and they missed a golden opportunity today froze like rabbits in the headlight and nobody in the middle stepped up when Priddis was targeted as the go to man. Thank Christ they didn't win it would have been unbearable and now a large amount of their fans who are mostly fair weather supporters will disappear again, hopefully for a very long time

Yes Pennant St Dee, I know what it is like to live in Perth and put up with the boasters from the Eagles camp. Great that they had the stuffing knocked out of them for a while at least. I really cannot stand the Eagles and their one eyed fans. Believe it or not, I have them ranked before Collingwood as my least liked team and that's saying something!

I left my heart to the sappers round Khe Sanh

And my soul was sold with my cigarettes to the blackmarket man

I've had the Vietnam cold turkey

From the ocean to the Silver City

And it's only other vets could understand

About the long forgotten dockside guarantees

That wasn't you they were singing about was it WYL?

Normally go for work, but did treat myself to a tour down the coast from Hanoi to Saigon in 2013. Hoi Anh and Nha Trang being my 2 favourite places. But ..............Sssshhhhhh!!!!! We don't want the rest of the world to find out how good it is and how inexpensive it is for hotels, food and grog. Bali?????? pfffft

Not sure if you are up on the history of the Old Firm in Scotland (although your name suggests you may) but I am an Irish Catholic and I hate Meth Coast more than I hate Rangers. My oldest boy follows the Pies so don't really have the intense hatred for them. Top 3 hated sports teams

1.Meth Coast

2.Rangers

3.Man Utd

Ah....how the passage of time changes things.

Quite a contrast from the time of our last GF success though.

So long ago.

rock bands seem out of place in day-time separated on all sides from the audience by at least a 100 metres

waste of money in this configuration

I say old chap they were only 20 metres from me and it still was meaningless.I was expecting the Rolling Stones, a biiiig sound system and them opening with Jumping Jack Watts

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the scorching morning heat to bring you the following observations of Wednesday's preseason training session from Gosch's Paddock. HARVEY WALLBANGER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Absent: Salem, Windsor (word is a foot rash going around), Viney, Bowey and Kentfield Train ons: Roy George, no Culley today. MATCH SIM: Friday 7th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded. Christian Petracca, Kade Chandler, Shane McAdam and Tom Fullarton doing non-contact kicking and handball drills on the adjacent oval.  All moving freely at pace.  I didn’

Demonland Trackwatchers were out in force as the Demons returned to Gosch's Paddock for preseason training on Wednesday morning. GHOSTWRITER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Kozzie a no show. Tommy Sparrow was here last week in civvies and wearing sunnies. He didn’t train. Today he’s training but he’s wearing goggles so he’s likely got an eye injury. THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years. The big fall came in 2024 with a collapse into the bottom six and a 14th placing. At Casey, the 2022 VFL p
