Given his trade was mooted as part of a larger trade that would have netted us Dangerfield I would hardly think they thought he was worth nothing. Pick 12 is better than a packet of twisties.

Zero expectations for him but really hoping he can get healthy.

Given both Jack and Angus Brayshaw were both drafted as mids, were similar draft picks, are a similar height and both have shown leadership potential at a young age, I figured it may be interesting see how their first years compared

Given we rightly laud Brayshaw as a future 200 game player and hopefully one of those to help lead us out of mediocrity, it is good to remember just how good Trengove was.

It is bizarre to think that if Angus were to follow the same career path as Jack he would be captain of the club in about 18 months time.

I think it was more about the fact there was pick 12 on offer and there is and always will be significant risks with Trenners from here on out, I don't think there is too much doubt what he is capable of if it's all smooth sailing from here on out, but it's probably fairly unlikely.

I think if you add your ideas to OD's then you're about there (imho )

Whatever value Jack actually has/had was trumped by the value of pick 12 and what that might have delivered.

Trade dissolves and Jacks back to being a decent player,in the repair shop, with a '?' Over him.

On talent alone he is a potential A grader. Can accumulate, strong over head, kicks goals, good disposal.

Do I expect him to all be able to be an A grade? Probably not.
