GAME DAY - Round 22

Featured Replies

Not catastrophic - especially given the cattle we have out there.

Too many unable to hit a target by hand or foot, turnovers, turnovers, turnovers.

Haven't minded some of the younger players, doing OK. Newton, Stretch, Salem. A long way to go though ...

You watching the same game? Not catastrophic?

If Freo clicked into 3rd gear we would be paste right now.

Well done in the last 15 minutes boys. Freo are basically doing whatever they like to obstruct any of our players from the marking contest, and the umps haven't got the slightest interest. Somebody needs to have the guts to call the umpiring for what it is, in every game, wear the fine and get the conversation started. It is destroying our game otherwise.

Why is Matt Jones even playing?

Can I assume that question has existential overtones?

Much love to Jack Viney

Poo to the rest of you.

Crossy has been good Jaded

Viney, Jetta, Cross only real standouts. OMac looks ok on debut.

Crossy has been good Jaded

Same with Bernie, Jeffy and even Mini Macca.

But only having 5 play well isn't exactly what we're after.

I want to know who is most responsible for us being mentally ready at the start of the game and I want them sacked. Something is clearly wrong with our preparation. It is inexcusable.

That would of course be Jack Watts. Roos will no doubt confirm this in the presser. I suspect he may have been a tad negative in ths pre game adress. May i suggest he receives 10 of the best from BBO

Even the hamburgers are wrapped in Freo branded paper.

Fuggin..

Why is Matt Jones even playing?

Matt Jones is playing??

He is A B Grade tryer who forces the midfield to play his style of game Not a champion in my book.

Well, you just aired your credentials with one simple post... emphasis on the word "simple".

Oscar McDonald, 5th highest for us in disposals

salem has class written all over him, viney great effort ,gawn tries so hard, hogan a kid in a mans world ,stop spitting your dummy out,the rest can [censored] off

Big Red, Rudi [censored] Webster couldn't rev us up.

I hate umpires.

It's hard not to when you support a bottom side.

Matt Jones is playing??

He's doing well MC, 1 possie and 2 frees against, vital cog to our midfield. Can't believe people would even consider delisting him

Why is Matt Jones even playing?

He's not. No really he's not playing, don't know what he is doing but its not playing.

Who knows. He won't be on the list next year anyway.

If he's managing to get a game over players at Casey, then surely the future isn't bright for them.

Rushed is our leading scorer FFS

Lets recruit him!! Sounds like a quick player!!

Dermot Brereton is a terrible commentator. He speaks so much shite.

what happened to Spencer ?

Who?

I think Oscar has been good. Like Salem and Viney.

Angry that M Jones is out there yet again.

Riley anyone!!?? Angry man at centre clearances, an area we get seeermasshed yet again!

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.
