POST MATCH DISCUSSION - Round 11

Is six beers and a bottle of red moderation?

It hasn't helped, still feel angry.

sounds like a good start !!! :)

It should be a set play. they players would have known there wasn't long left, Jones and Dunn should have been screaming to get the set up right.

Jones and Dunn's leadership ain't worth an average leaders toe jam.

Bottle of Wine to the greatest over-reaction.

I'm tipping WYL as he warms up but Gorgoroth os way ahead with all that "salt the earth" stuff.

Without Hogan probably would have lost by 5 goals.

Another big cleanout at seasons end.

Are players allowed to shepherd now or is this called blocking.

Completely structure less team down the line

and so sad to see our players except for a few are really timid and won't annoy, harass and get in the face and do something on the mark

Check IQ level of every player.

Paul Roos is a Neeld level match day coach

If he doesnt fix the culture he should hand back every cent we pay him cos he isnt here for his coaching ability thats for sure

Ridiculous comment ... Just as frustrated as you mate.....

We forget how far off the pace we wr in 2013... Turned over 18-20 players with more to come ....want fix our list issues in 2 drafts!

Previous mgt screwed our list for close to 10 drafts!

I thought Brayshaw looked injured in the last. He couldn't run. It's hard when a first year player is fast becoming our mid field gun..

Phone thumbs edit.

Michie came on as sub. Kicks a terrible floater and chokes near the ball. Both at vital times.

Another to throw in the MFC delist scrap heap.

Yet another potato. Can't believe people cry out for his selection nearly every week. VFL player.

I agree

But we're talking about a group of players who haven't got a lot of experience like a geelong or Freo, hawks etc

We should have done what you wanted - but there is no timeout to reorganise -

Saints just got lucky which pisses me off more because we should have won - but we blew it

So I've been predicting 6-8 wins for most of the year. I think it'll be 6. :P

I'm shattered .....

Still too many oldies in the scared to win brigade. One we can sort this out there will be no turning back.

It's because we move the ball too slowly because Roos plays a loose man in defense which means the opposition have a loose man in defense.

No excuse for an uncontested mark after the ball has been held up that long. Something needs to change.

Jones, Lumumba, Dunn, Cross, Vince simply have to know better, they are there to guide the inexperience

This will suck the absolute life out of this footy club now.

We will get flogged by Geelong next week and then cop another hiding against WC after the bye,

I predicted a bottom 3 finish and [censored] like Curry berated me.

This club is [censored] too predictable.

You're lucky I'm quite partial to italics.

Who?

Carlton and Brisbane are both a big stretch with current form.

Its good to see you expressi g yourself like that but atleast you could compliment me on how right i am and so far superior then you?

At least with the juniors and the kids, the lack of experience provides a reason why things go wrong in the heat of the last minutes.

There is no such excuse for the leaders.

It's ridiculous that there are people on here having a go at Toumpas because Montagna kicked that goal. Not only was Toumpas possibly our best today, but that goal could have been kicked by anyone. A clogged backline would have helped.

Not having a go and don't want to add to the toump bashing but he got caught napping.

Dawes for Pederson and we probably win.

Rye. There's no internet there.

wind keeps blowing it away...eh

peed your panties in the NAB cup FFS

the problem is you have absolutely no spine

you'll be the first one back on the bandwagon after our next win

Toumpas is playing better than he was, no doubt.

But lets call a spade a spade here. He is as outside as outside gets. Any sort of pressure of physicality and he looks for an immediate hand off.

I think it's fairly clear we need to get an a grader in like a Judd style trade. Trade in a captain.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: West Coast

Epic battle alert.  This Sunday, Casey Fields hosts a coach’s showdown pitting the wits of the master Mick Stinear (92 games, 71.7% win rate) against his protégé Daisy Pearce (16 games, 43.8%). Still early in her coaching journey, Daisy’s record doesn’t yet reflect her impact — but she’s already the best-performed coach at West Coast.Dais’ is mythic.  Like Katniss Everdeen, everyone either wants to kiss her, kill her (sporting metaphor) or be her.  Toothers Daisy Pearce is a role model, someone admired for their heart, humility and humour.

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.
