Buckley Tears Hamstring

Featured Replies

Nathan Buckley has apparently torn his hamstring off the bone, while playing touch football. He is to undergo surgery.

So we may have three interim coaches, 1 through sacking, 2 through injury and none of them Mrlbourne...

Weird...

Good from the POV he probably won't be coaching on the weekend

He is a pretty fit guy so that is unusual....

I've never heard of a unhealthy fat person tearing their hamstring off their bone.

Unless of course they were really hungry.

That's probably because an unhealthy fat person would never physically challenge themselves to such a level as to force an injury

Use your imagination Ethan. There a number of scenarios where this has could happen.

That was my point.

I thought that he had done it during his playing days. Didn't he need surgery for it which would suggest it was off the bone that time too. Depending on the timing and whether it needs surgery he still may be coaching Monday.

In fact it may have been prior to a game v Melbourne and we heard the usual "hooray, we will romp it in" though I don't think we did.

He is ok to coach on Monday according to sen

I take it he won't be playing, then?

One less to worry about...(LOL)

Are you referring to your romantic alpaca activities Uncle Bitter? Thought so.

Old men should never forget they are old.

Stay away from young men's games Bucks

ouch. that would be extremely painful

Nearly 12 months.

Seen some absolute rip snorters in my time, but the coach of the pies would have better rehab and physio than the average punter.
