This is not Walt Disney we are talking about!

Clearly it is. The opening line says "Assuming we win all our games"

I know it's been a while since we've seen a MFC final but I'm sticking with the premiership!

Assuming we win all our games next year. Which will be your win and why?

Breaking the Etihad hoodoo?

Beating the reigning premiers?

Queens birthday glory?

I live in WA so I would love to wear my Melbourne Jersey down Murray St victorious for once

I would love to see us return the favour to west coast for the last 4 years of smashings! If we win over there, i'll fly over and join ya!

Queens B'day would be nice!

Breaking the Etihad hoodoo would set us up for winning more games there, so it wouldn't be just a one-off kinda win, it'd signal a turning of the corner.

I guess it's impossible to do, but I think if we had a mid-week practice session at Etihad before a weekend game there, we'd win that game.

It's been said a couple of times and the answer clearly is the Cats in Geelong.

Good topic if the lack of essays is any criteria.

Just hate Carlton. Can justify it but it would take an essay.

So in reality the most significant win of the coming season has to be over Hawthorn. At the MCG and we will all be there (except for those that can't).

We've been North's [censored] for far tooling.

Geez BBub,

You of all people should know it's easier for us to beat the Filth in Grand Finals than to beat them Q Bday

Haha, we've been everyone's biatch for way too long.

I hope the magical switch gets turned and we [censored] every single team. No more pity from other teams supporters, I don't think I can handle one more 'oh, you barrack for Melb'....

North was also my choice, I rate them a bit better than ordinary. They seem to push us off the footy to easily.

So many choices:

The drug cheats - again

Smug Eddie on QB

CATS BY 187 at Geelong

Norf at Doglands

but best of all would be the last Saturday in September.

Needs to be the first (second?) Saturday in October next year because of the delayed start. Some cricket thing is happening.

Without a doubt, Round 1.

Every year it has been a bitter disappointment and put us in a bad position from the very beginning. The emotional difference between a win and a loss there would be the greatest margin of any of them.

That said, I do enjoy our traditional wins over Essendon.

Reading your post again as if anyone could go past holding up the premiership cup? I think all the others would be forgotten by then!

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
