Nah, this was just down at their local cafe.

I like everything saty brings to DL.reports, inside mail, common sense and brevity.

Plus that beautiful style of upsetting people by throwing thier own mud back at them.

Almost forgot, his love for the mighty Dees.

We love our Devil Inside.

I love being called "old chap".

It takes old dee and I back to a time when we first got our MCC membership in 1896.

So what were you doing in the first 58 years old chap?

Hopefully you put in a preseason of posting and contribute more heavily in the real season, KK!

I have a huge preseason planned, DA.

I'm building a keg fridge on the back veranda for my homebrew and painting it Red and Blue. It'll be particularly useful for when I need to drown my sorrows (i.e. 20 minutes into Round One or following the first three catastrophic preseason injuries).

I'm also training my kids up on profane language in preparation for the Round Two clash at Manuka Oval (Tom Scully Carnival of Hate). They're growing up in Queanbeyan so they already have a pretty good excellent swearing vocabulary, so I'm concentrating on grammar, context and combinations. " Nice one $cully you [censored] [censored] glass-eyed, soulless [censored]!" That kinda thing.

Good times!

Nice to see some good old fashioned parenting. Do you run workshops?

Hopefully Burgs does a report of the time trial.

He (or one of the papers) usually put up a few more photos and a description of who won and the usual 'x amount of players set PBs'.

Learn 'em good!

And Jesse Hogan was in the top 5!

As much as its good to see the likes of Howe and Viney up gotta remember that Jones Bail and Cross didn't run today. And also Dan Nicholson who is normally top 2 every year.

Tom McDonald won

but the big surprise was Jeremy Howe came 2nd

Thanks HH

Love Tom McDonalds attitude. Spent his off season effectively on a 5 week sporting study tour of the US dropping in on College Basketball and NFL teams

At the end of his career at least he will be able to say he gave it his all.

No doubt. When it comes to attitude, I don't think many if any would sit above him.

Tommy Mac is a gun and with the recruitment of Frost, our back line is really taking shape.

Notwithstanding some posters wanted to put Tommy on the trade table.
