Love the fact he is confident to accept the challenge of playing his role to improve a team . Unlike some recently deeparted

I don't have an issue if we hand over our second rounder (pick 22ish) for LaBamba.

The bloke has played 200 games, All Australian, premiership player, consistent top 5 in the best and fairest.

We traded a pick in the mid 20's for Vince and you could argue that the Prince's career has been of the equal to Vince, if not better.

If only some others shut their mouths. Why you mad Bro?

Have a problem with reading the entire post hey?

Feel free to shut yours.

Pick 23ish for him...

Clark compo or nothing.

Pick 23 is too much for Lumumba, Collingwood want it.

I think we are waiting on a Clark trade.

Lumumba is 28 next month, clearly has issues, and is an athlete before footballer - unlike Vince, who will play into his 30's.

We won't give up 23, Roos isn't silly.

I don't like the "he has issues" comments people are making about HL. Difference of opinion or communication style doesn't equal "issues".

In any event, I do agree that pick 23 is too much but a pick in the 30s is about right.

Didn't he take some time off to deal with some issues?

He has issues, it is well documented. Has there been a season gone by where Lumumba hasn't put the attention on himself?

I cannot recall one. Certainly Collingwood are fed up, they are moving him on anyway, so they have no bargaining power, they do not want this guy at their club regardless.

Clark compo would be about right, like for like.

Who wouldn't have issues playing for the Filth?

Would be nice if we could trade 2 or 3 in a Tyson-like trade and use 23 on Hugh Goddard if he could be so good as to slip that far.

Correct Id really like to hang onto pick 23 as there will be a nice players that slides down to that pick.

Pick 23 is clear overs for Prince. He is gifted, but he ain't worth that.

Geelong's pick 33 I'll be reasonably okay with.

If we are talking about trading what we receive from Geelong, why not deal directly with Collingwood who would also like Mitch in their forward line? Mitch is still contracted on our list until after the trade period (31 October) so to a large extent we hold the cards in relation to HL, Mitch, the Cats and the Pies! Without satisfying us no deal gets done and Mitch and HL could each each find themselves in the PSD where we also hold all the cards!

Confused. Deals done isn't it? Geelong pick 2 straight to Collingwood.

He's nominated Geelong and discussions are now with Geelong. Shafting them at this point wouldn't bode well for any future dealings.

If we can get the three way deal that suits all parties, Collingwood to a lesser extent, then I think that's the ideal outcome.

The downside is Clark will likely avoid facing a Melbourne home crowd next season. He gets to weasel out. Again.

But I want more than pick 33 for Clark.

Agree with this. I believe we could get 33 and another pick from Cats for MC with the second one going for Frost.

That way we get HL and Frost for MC. It is not impossible as Cats are saying he could be a star for them. They have missed on Chip and we can force MC into the draft.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
