and this time last year Tyson had signed for another 2 years at GWS. But if he stays he stays, pay extra it's Treloar I want of all their mids

If Shiel is expected to stay, do we throw stupid amounts of money at Jeremy Cameron? $1mill a season over 5 years?

Is a trade of Pick 3+4 for Cameron+end of first round compo (or 2nd rnd) reasonable? With the giants list contracting they'd be unlikely to use more than 3-4 picks, under that trade they'd have picks 2, 3, 4 & 20(end of first round compo)/ 22(2nd rounder).

I wouldn't mind him, needs to work on his kicking for sure but sure does have a great set of hands.

Dont know how we would trump St Kildas pick #1, and dont know why they would prefer to take an untried kid from the draft over Jeremy.

Because we'd most likely be offering picks 2 & 3 for Cameron & O'Rourke, or something similar.

A high pick alone probably won't do it for GWS and Cameron is under contract.

It's not rocket science.

Pick 2 and 3 trumps pick 1 every day of the week, GWS would get the player they would take pick 1 and a bonus top 3 pick.

Dont understand your obsession with O Rourke but regardless there is no way we would score both O Rourke and Cameron for those picks.

St Kilda could float pick 1 and Armitage which would provide GWS with the best kid in the draft and a seasoned body player. St Kilda have shown they arnt shy to offload seasoned players for young guns.

Patracca/Armitage/O Rourke would fit them better then Petracca/Brayshaw

Pick 2 and 3 is still far more valuable than that deal...

I think the deal would be something like pick 2 and 3 for Jeremy Cameron and a second rounder

the giants want Petracca, who will go at pick 2, would you rather pick 3 or Armitage as a bonus?

Armitage and pick 1 will leave them woth Petracca/Armitage and O Rourke.

pick 2 and 3 for Cameron and O Rourke will leave them with Petracca/Brayshaw.

id prefer deal 1 to be honest

We won't chase another player imo

It would be 2,3 for Cameron and their second rounder which would be 22

that would give them picks 2,3,4, 19

the other thing is we would be able to offer Cameron 1 mil plus per year if we needed too, and i'd say we are in a much better position than the Saints to improve quickly

I wouldn't be giving away 2 picks for Cameron, that's a recipe for disaster.

I don't think one pick is going to get the deal done rjay, if the rumours are true, perhaps we could offer Watts and pick 2?

I would think they are more interested in players than picks at this stage. Maybe a high pick and a player and I'm pretty sure Watts isn't what they're after. You can't give away 2 picks, the price is too high unless we get another top 10 pick back.

The Saints would trump us with Armitage I would think, yet to be seen if they would make that deal. The other thing is which club is Cameron's preferred.

Yeah I see what you mean, from my point of view the prospect of setting up a long term forward combination of Hogan and Cameron would be too good for the club not to throw everything at it,

I think the high picks would still interest the Giants as I believe they're trying to establish their age gap with the expectation they will lose players along the way, I'm not sure what players we have that would be of interest to them

alternatively I reckon Tommlinson would be a good pickup without the price tag of Cameron

Worst part about GWS and St Kilda dealing is we lose access to both Petracca and Cameron. Who would we then draft?

If we have picks 2 and 3 and Petracca goes pick 1

i'd say we would take McCartin and Brayshaw if we went to the draft

I think we will finish 16th on 5 wins and Frawley will go.

Thats pick 3 & 4.

Keep one for young gun and trade the other.

WE NEED HOPE. MY HOPE INDICATOR NEEDS BOOSTING AS IT HAS DROPPED DRAMATICALLY AFTER THE LIONS GAME. OUR STYLE OF PLAY & SKILLS WAS UGLY.
