Nasher 33,655 Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Was told we were getting a classy forward, with question marks on size and pace. Was not expecting a gun midfielder who knows how to find the ball and make the right decision every time. So happy with this selection so far. 13 Quote
Sigil 1,002 Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 He looked so clean with disposal under pressure today. It's nice to have a player with skills that you can then work on (defensively, run to space etc) rather than an "athlete". Great pick up. Quote
jackaub 1,402 Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 He is as good as it gets Fantastic So much more to come Pick 40 something just so good Quote
jackaub 1,402 Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Just watch howfast his hands are makes all teh difference Quote

dazzledavey36 56,285 Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 A mix between Steven Motlop and Matthew Stokes. All class. 1 Quote
Little Richard 6,265 Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Great game from him this afternoon. Looking to be a real drafting masterstroke. Can we get the title of the thread changed though? It's a bit misleading. 1 Quote

RickyJ45 417 Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 I reckon a top 10 draft pick is much riskier than a 20-40 pick... more solid performers always come later Quote
biggestred 5,310 Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 if his name was Cyril everyone would have been jizzing over how good his game was tonight wowee 2 Quote
Gorgoroth 13,216 Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 On the foxtel show they had on after the bummers match JKH was the #1 in their top 10 players so far. Quote
Straight Sets Simon 23,113 Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 I love how after the Collingwood game on Friday night everyone was saying that the kid they had on debut (who was good) must get a Rising Star nomination, but I remember thinking to myself that there is still eight games to go, early call. Surely JKH gets the nod. 4 Quote
Gorgoroth 13,216 Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Langdon (sp?) has been very good all year and was fantastic on Friday night. Quote

Jarka 767 Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 There was one piece of play that sums JKH up, he was just about to get the ball and was being tackled at the same time, he had the composure to take the tackle and to identify who to pass the ball as well. But it was the handball which was the most impressive part, he pretty much started the handballing action before he got the ball, so once he had it he instantly made contact with his fist and moved it on. Simply awesome 5 Quote

DeeZee 7,496 Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 JKH is so much more than the small forward i was expecting he is a genuine, very clever midfielder. You can really see the midfield taking shape this year , as well as Vince and Cross, just take a look at the exciting crop of young blokes who unlike previous years are looking very exciting. Viney, Tyson,JKH,Salem,Toumpas......all just kids but these guys will drag us out of the mire. 1 Quote
chook fowler 19,770 Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Agree his midfield potential was on display yesterday. With his balance, clean hands and skills, very exciting Quote
Gipsy Danger 1,067 Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 Bit stiff to miss out on a rising star nomination this week Quote
Bring-Back-Powell 15,536 Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 Bit stiff to miss out on a rising star nomination this weekNo he wasn't.Langdon has been solid in all 7 games. JKH has slowly built something, week by week. Quote

Ted Lasso 19,586 Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 Will be very interesting to see what position JKH plays over his career, a player with class and smarts like that could play in just about any position. Quote
rpfc 29,020 Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 He reminds me of Brent Stanton, minus the clangers of course. Wins the footy, can link up, knows where to run. 1 Quote
