Roosy is going to earn his pay this Halftime.

We have to change attitude during the break.

Considering we pay him 78K per game,so he should!

Tom McDonald is almost playing his worst ever game.

I've probably seen enough from Neville Jetta now. As much as I wanted him to make the grade, it's just not going to happen.

Yes

Yes

Sub Jetta off now he is simply not up to it.

Watts teammates must hate him

Imagine going into battle every week with someone so soft

Who's been harder than him this week?

They are all standing around watching.

What a shite team we are.

So many players should not play next week.

Can't even handball 5 meters and keep it flat, they shite themselves every time there is a little pressure.

Lucky Carlton were pathetic last week.

KH needs to be subbed. Hasn't got a clue how to contest, pressure or chase. Back to the magoos for more education

Mate we need about 15 subs right now.

Bail, M Jones, Mckenzie, JKH, Jetta hardly a possession between them

Not sure what role McKenzie is supposed to be playing. What happened to the blue-collar scragging, tackling machine we knew and (sometimes) loved? Looks lost.

I'm considering running onto the field so I get banned for life and I have a legitimate excuse why I don't have to sit and watch this rubbish.

Just so many ordinary footballers.. Clearance work is terrible. McDonald getting flogged. Dawes misses two sitters. Terlich kicking efficiency 28 percent.

Worse than the WC game. There, we were overrun by a slick outfit. Not true of today, we should be matching them.

Jones, Cross and Viney. Jones mostly inneffective wile on Ablett tho (who wouldnt be).

I expected us to be down by 4 or 5 at half time as GCS spread and generally run harder to make an option. That can be countered once the sting come out of their legs a little in 2nd half. But to do so we wld need to be putting a lot more pressure on them to get the ball back than we have so far, up the tackle count to wear em down (legs again). Also work harder to get the ball into the hands of guys in our team who can run and break lines (JKH, Bail, M Jones, Jetta, Terlich). Make them chase us (legs again) and bring the game back on our terms.

Hard to see where/who thats going to come from tho.

Howe to HF for mine. Leave him, Dawesy and JHK one out and go from there.

Dunny needs to stop the right flank outlet kicking. Too predictable. One option is Dawesy one out straight down the middle once in a wile. Mix it up. Take risks!!! Dawesy will beat Warnock one out 8 times outta 10!

Fingers crossed. Go Demons!!

HARVEY WALLBANGER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Absent: Salem, Windsor (word is a foot rash going around), Viney, Bowey and Kentfield Train ons: Roy George, no Culley today. MATCH SIM: Friday 7th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded. Christian Petracca, Kade Chandler, Shane McAdam and Tom Fullarton doing non-contact kicking and handball drills on the adjacent oval.  All moving freely at pace.  I didn’

    TRAINING: Wednesday 5th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatchers were out in force as the Demons returned to Gosch's Paddock for preseason training on Wednesday morning. GHOSTWRITER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Kozzie a no show. Tommy Sparrow was here last week in civvies and wearing sunnies. He didn’t train. Today he’s training but he’s wearing goggles so he’s likely got an eye injury. There’s a drill where Selwyn literally lies on top of Tracc, a trainer dribbles the ball towards them and Tracc has to g

THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years. The big fall came in 2024 with a collapse into the bottom six and a 14th placing. At Casey, the 2022 VFL p
