Adelaide - Their supporters come into the MCG like they own the place.
Brisbane - Soft-spot because of both Fitzroy and the 3-peat.
Carlton - Grew up in the north surrounded by Blues supporters so naturally hate them. Was great seeing us beat them in two finals.
Collingwood - Don't mind the club itself, I admire its success and ability after being down and out at the end of the '90s.
Essendon - Despise the arrogance from club and fans alike.
Fremantle- At least they're not the Eagles.
Geelong - Certainly loved them '07-2011. Kind of over them now. Neither love nor hate.
Gold Coast - Don't mind them.
GWS - Argh....
Hawthorn - The worst supporters in the league. Young, cocky...but rightly so.
North Melbourne - Their supporters can be real bogans, or real cocky asses, probably from the Carey years. Don't mind the club though. Gotta love that culture.
Port Adelaide - I don't mind them but I hate this sense of privilege they have, like, because they have been around so long in the SANFL that they deserve better recognition in the AFL.
Richmond - Really admire their fans, despite how loud and crude they can be. Down and out for decades but still turn up.
St Kilda - Terrible fans, terrible club.

Sydney - Probably hate them the least of all interstate clubs.

West Coast - I only really have trouble with one group of fans at MCG games: Eagles supporters. The club is okay I guess but wow, their supporters are asses.

Bulldogs - Probably my "second team" mainly because they are similarly irrelevant as Melbourne.

No votes as yet for West Coast as a most liked. This pleases me very much.

Marginally behind Essendon for worst supporters in the league.

It's hard not to like Collingwood

It's hard not to like Collingwood

No, it's very easy really.

The whole club is built on John Wren's filthy money from the early 1900's, a time during which every social and political advance was held back by his corruption, stand-over, money laundering and every other scum trick available. Collingwood fc became the sporting embodiment of his ethos, and their success in the 1920's rests firmly on his horrible money. Their in-bred supporters, and successes remain connected to these roots.

Think 1958 grand final.

Think 1976 when the despised Weideman led them to the wooden spoon (beautiful, poetic justice)

Think of the Herald Sun's addiction to them.

Think Malthouse coach and Buckley captain.

So it is very easy to not like them.

I hate seeing Collingwood fans waving opposition supporters goodbye. They weren't so happy to get the same treatment as they were leaving games at the G last year when they were getting smashed.Low grade dog food that's what they are.

So you don't like them?

Excellent post Pineapple. Your expression is quite poetic.

I went off them after they touched up Nathan Jones' father

I went to school in Clifton Hill. A lot of filth supporters and blokes who played collingwood YCW. No probs there but the Scum from Fitzroy High presented some problems. Tough times.

Can't believe people on here don't mind Collingwood!!!

FFS They have taken over the Ponsford Stand as THEIR social club at the ground we wete born from.

Should be civil war in my view.

The MFC hates the Filth.

I admire them like Hawthorn.

Both are what the MFC should be.

Both have stolen it out from under us.

We have been the laughing stock while they plunder on .

Without the pies some Melbourne teams would be in some strife financially, I don't mind the saints actually, funny that

That hatred isn't reciprocated. It's kinda like that little chickenhawk who rants and raves at Foghorn Leghorn about how he is going to get him. Collingwood really doesn't care about us.

It does s**t me how Eddie McGuire holds the Queen's Birthday match over us as some reason we need to be grateful to Collingwood.

A lot of the superiority complex some Melbourne supporters have towards Collingwood and it's supporters is unfounded. If the AFL were a completely free market, Collingwood would be able to swallow us whole. They make multi million dollar profits (though as PJ pointed out with some inherent advantages), we have just been bailed out due to our own gross mismanagement.

What I really want is for all of them to hate us again.

What I really want is for all of them to hate us again.

Yep. I was listening to SEN last night and callers were saying stuff like 'i'm glad Melbourne won. They've had tough times and they deserve to have a win or two'

I felt like spitting on the floor, That patronising pity is as bad as being laughed at.

What are my feelings towards other clubs? Sympathy.

I recall a game back in the Ratten days when Carlton beat Collingwood and I was with some Carlton supporting friends/family in standing room on the ground level. Maybe 40 or 50 Carlton supporters had set up camp there, directly behind a Collingwood members area.

Not a Pie was allowed to leave without a chorous of 'Goooooood-bbbyyyyyyeeeeee!' and they did not like it. Not at all. One bright spark kept trying to mock the Blues supporters, saying that 'Now you think Brett Ratten is a genius again', but he started the night drunk, and finishing it with "Bwert Radden... genish" as about all he could say.

I may not like Carlton a lot of the time, but their supporters do a great job of winding up Collingwood supporters and for that we can thank them.

Collingwood. Self-entitled pr1cks. Doesn't matter if you've got [censored] on your shoes or a yacht or both, same attitude like they are all that really matters.

I hate them all with a special level of revulsion for Essendon and I find Hawthorn supproters particularly bigheaded

I'm with you there, hate Hawthorn because their absolute [censored] supporters and Essendon because there blatant cheats and Hird is a narcissistic [censored]

and also because the AFL have basically let them get away with all this cheating...........hate Demetriou as well

Just hate Carldon. They think they have an inherant right to to be top of the heap and only ever get there by overspending, cheating and manipulating.

Hope MM took early lessons in greek, italian and skullcap wearing !

Get outathere early Greeny ASAP

Essendon the drug cheats are easily most hated

Disgusting club

Adelaide- Love watching Dangerfield & Sloan, think nothing of them

Brisbane - don't mind them really to much, it's good the Lion remains in the AFL in some form

Carlton - Don't hate them as much as I used to the early part of this century knocked them down a peg or two

Collingwood - My eldest follows them so I take interest in their results. I have hatred and admiration for them, they are what we should be had we not been mismanaged for so long

Essendon - Hate them since the 80's and again after 2000

Fremantle - I like Freo their fans are very loyal and have a bit of footy knowledge unlike those chardonnay fookers up the road

Hawthorn - Hate them but also admire them for the way they turned their club around after 1996

Geelong - Like watching them play true professionals, but I have hated their arrogance ever since James Kelly did a mock sleeping on a teammates shoulders while yawning as they sang the team song after beating us around 2009/10. I have never forgotten that vision it is burned in my memory forever

Gold Coast - Hate them we didn't need anymore than 16 teams

GWS - AFL'S lovechild and I despise them

North - I admire their culture, loved watching Glen Archer go about it on the field but must say I hate Brad Scott, he is a whinger and I hope they crash and burn this year so he falls on his sword

Richmond - we share birthdays and I don't mind the Toiges

Saints - long suffering like us and felt for them in 09 & 10

Sydney - admire the way they go about it and love their culture

Meth Coast - Im an Irish Catholic and I hate them more than I hate Rangers, living in Perth only makes me hate them more, they and their supporters are absolute scum

Western Bulldogs - like the Saints I feel for their supporters

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
