Who would you like to see "Rip it up" in 2014

Realy want To see Tappy stay on the park and start putting in when it counts. Would love to see Blease making his mark also.

The whole team will rip it up! We will be the surprise packet. Watch out for the meteoric rise into the 8! Feeling confident because it's November!

Toumpass, Gawn, Blease Strauss Tappy all become automatic 22

Watts, Trengove, Grimes, Clark, Dawes, McDonald and viney all to become elite and have full years !

That too much to ask?

Hopefully, our new recruits have their injury woes behind them and they hit the ground running from Round 1.

Barring that, Big Mitch CLARK!

Ummmm, let me think about it....

Our whole team (except N.Jones as he already does)!!!

It's been a long time since our players have been 'Ripping it up' at an AFL standard.

Little Richard.

Failing him, 28 Days.

I'm gonna say Strauss for the third year running. Carn Straussy, fire up son!

As much as I would like to see any of our players rip it up, my individual choice would have to be Tapscott.

I really wanted us to draft him and was over the moon when we did. I really thought he would be a weapon as an AFL player.

Over the past 12 months I have just about given up on him.

Having him really play well would be a huge boost.

Jimmy Toumpas has started off really well this pre season. I have a good feeling we will see the exciting player we saw during those under 18s championships.

I would love to see Trengove take the next step, as a full time midfielder. Has all the tools to be that inside player with class we are looking for. Watched a few replays from this year, rarely misses a target in space and when around a stoppage has the knack to know where to be to get the possession or lay the tackle

Jack Watts!! What?

I want to see the entire list playing team first, hard nosed and functional football. I want to see them playing for each other.

And I want to see Jesse Hogan tearing the competition a new one, sending a msg to the AFL that the MFC have finally hit the jackpot with a young star.

No pressure of course.. Jesse.

Trengove is my first choice, Blease a close second.

Good brother. back at training. the filth are a solid unit. a solid, yet filthy unit.

Are you backdooring him ( figure of speech) and shagging his girlfriend while he is at training? I know you'd have to ignore " the teef" and other matters of personal hygeine but it would be the right thing for a demon supporter to do.

Clark, Hogan & Watts!

No pressure, but HOGAN. If this kid comes in and does a Carey things will change around here very quickly.

Watch a little 1964 Ground Final BBO.

We were 2 points behind with seconds to play and our back pocket player kick a the winning goal.

What a way to win a match and against Collingwood LOL

Pity it was so long ago.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
