Start of next year it will be, "I'm dealying any contract negotiations until the end of the year." Maybe his manager will be smart enough to rephrase this, so as to not telegraph the intention too much.

Otherwise he becomes the Trav Cloke or BJ Goddard/Buddy Franklin of 2014 and is a distraction we dont need. I think all we know is Chip hasn't been mentioned as signing a contract extension.

We only just kept Watts on the back of Roos signing on. Jackson, Bartlett and several other new appointments can only provide so much influence to keeping players.

Another sht year and Frawley will seek out success at another club and I won't blame him. Frawley would look at Rivers playing off in a Prelim, Petterd in an Elim and will most likely watch on as Sylvia plays deep into finals next season.

If I recall that also means matching the term of the contract and so if they offer 3-5 years, we secure him for that period...

Can you confirm the MFC has put an offer in front of Frawley?

Do you not concede that whilst it might make you happy, it really could mean a better deal for Frawley if he holds off?

Meaning that he is only acting in his best interests, as anyone should be allowed to do?

if he asked the club to trade him this year, its time for him to do the right thing, sign, (even for 1Yr), or say "I've had enough & want out".

then we can deal for both our interests.
