Why is this guy still on the list

Will never make it List clogger El supremo.

Should probably get out before his brain melts. He has some good qualities, but he's not good enough to make the potential risk to his health worth the trouble. If I were him, this would be my last year in the game.

Came onto the scene in a 'fresh' way. Had good feet, poise and an appetite but it really hasnt amounted to . Can only see cameo performances in 14 before being let go. Shame...has a bit of flair.

Not everyone makes it,

Rohan Bail is a decent young man.

If I was his GP I'd tell him to quit now.

Another blow to the head and we have the Danial Bell problem all over again.

I like him as a player...good endurance, puts his body on the line etc.

If he'd had more continuity of games I think he'd show what talent he has.

Although as others have said, would another head injury worth it?

Rohan works hard to get the ball then promptly butchers it far too often. I really like his courage, pace and work-rate, but his is iffy disposal, lack of composure and questionable decision making indicate to me that he will be spending a lot of time at Casey in 2014. Like quite a few others on our list, the step between VFL and AFL is a step too far for him.

has a year to run . I think theyll just leave it there.

I rate him higher than Nicho but if he has another concussion he is done. There are more important things than football (I think?).

I'd be saving up as much of this year's pay as I could if I was Bail, because he won't be back in 2015.

A real shame, because he was shaping up to be really handy before the concussions. Life is too short to wreck your brain.

That's not much of a recommendation.

Had a good year under Bailey once.

Roos might be able to turn some of underachievers into players.

Posted

He definitely should retire while he is still capable of making such a rational decision.

It could have been nice to see what a cerebrally intact Bail could achieve under Roos, but it is not to be, surely.

I know we like to talk about things we have no idea about here on Demonland, but I think Rohan Bail's state of health takes the cake. Just let the club and Rohan sort this one out.

What is the real significance of player review,Austin Wonda.... was reviewed despite getting the chop. I suppose some of us are bored XXXXX due to no footy.

As a pick 64 he has probably done better than most 64's

Seems a nice guy from a very good family.

However I see little future in him.

He knows how to get the ball but he is a terrible kick.

Not good enough at AFL level.

IMO only a minor miracle will see him on the list for 2015

For one thing, it helps people get the players' names right--which is something you're having a bit of trouble with from the looks of it.

    HIGHLIGHTS/LOWLIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Melbourne traveled across the continent to take on the Fremantle Dockers in sweltering conditions at Mandurah south of Perth in a game that delivered the club both its highlight and its lowlight in the first minute.  But first, let’s start by doing away with the usual cliches used in connection with the game. It was just a practice match and the result didn’t matter. Bad kicking is bad football. The game was played in severe heat, the swirly breeze played havoc with both teams resulting in

    TRAINING: Friday 28th February 2025

A couple of Demonland Trackwatchers headed down to Gosch's Paddock to bring you their observations from today's training session before the Demons head off to Perth for their final Practice Match. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Beautiful morning, not much wind, more than a couple of dozen spectators.  The players were up and about, boisterous and having fun. One of their last drills were three teams competing in a hard at it, handball game in a small area. Goody

THE ACCIDENTAL DEMONS by The Oracle

In the space of eight days, the Melbourne Football Club’s plans for the coming year were turned upside down by two season-ending injuries to players who were contending strongly for places in its opening round match against the GWS Giants. Shane McAdam was first player to go down with injury when he ruptured an Achilles tendon at Friday afternoon training, a week before the cut-off date for the AFL’s pre-season supplemental selection period (“SSP”). McAdam was beginning to get some real mom

RETURN TO NORMAL by Whispering Jack

One of my prized possessions is a framed, autographed guernsey bearing the number 31 worn by my childhood hero, Melbourne’s champion six time premiership player Ronald Dale Barassi who passed away on 16 September 2023, aged 87. The former captain who went on to a successful coaching career, mainly with other clubs, came back to the fold in his later years as a staunch Demon supporter who often sat across the way from me in the Northern Stand of the MCG cheering on the team. Barassi died the
