Totally agree, still in the process of deciding, talk up the list abit, really have to be 100% sure, still things that would need to fall into place, had a great talk with leadership group, great bunch of young men..

some sort of dribble and then hopefully a presser tomorrow morning

Hahaha, still need to sort things out.

We want 3 years Roos wants 5 my god if that's all that's holding it back give him the 5 or minimum 4

We want 3? We are high.

Five years is the minimum time it will take to turn this rabble around.

Give him 5 years Melbourne. You can always sack him mid-contract, it's our signature move.

Dont believe what you hear on the news

5 years would have been agreed to right off the bat

you really thunk the MFC is in a position to play hard ball with Paul Roos? LOL

And do you really think PJ would be stupid enough to scare him off at the last minute?

Channel 7 are talking out their ass, they are as clueless as anyone

Jesus tapdancing christ if that is true we should start a sack PJ thread! hahaha

if he wants 5 years i'd lock him up, 5 years of a premiership coach would be a terrible outcome for the club... haha

I know, I'd hate to possibly be successful for 5 whole years. 3 is enough.

In fact, I'd also offer Frawley a one year contract next year.

P.S.-didn't some spud of the Gillies/Pederson persuasion get 3 years? That alone should guarantee Roos a 16 year contract.

Why 360 over OTC? Wouldn't hearing what Roos has to say be more revealing then what Robbo or Gerrard have to say?

Sorry I can't watch either. I meant the Paul Roos one, OTC

It makes me laugh how Channel 7 and others have talked about what is being proposed and how there are sources or sauces and the one thing PJ and others have brought to the club is the ability to do business negotiations in private. this is so unlike previous years. This shows a level of professionalism that gives me great hope for the club. It makes it harder for us supporter mind you but the saying is so true that lose lips sinks ships. Fremantle's poaching of Ross Lyons is a perfect example of getting the business done without having running commentary or it being played out in the media. The outrage many felt over the way it was done was from the media and i reckon the outrage was more in that Ross and Fremantle did it quietly with out any one working it out before they wanted.

That's what makes it interesting that Paul Roos was the one to break the news and not MFC which to me speaks volumes about his intent. Loved the reaction of Eddie and Jason on the panel. Can't wait to hear the official news if and when it arrives.

HEAVEN OR HELL by The Oracle

Clashes between Melbourne and St Kilda are often described as battles between the forces of heaven and hell. However, based on recent performances, it’s hard to get excited about the forthcoming match between these two sides. It would be fair to say that, at the moment, both of these teams are in the doldrums. The Demons have become the competition’s slow starters while the Saints are not only slow to begin, they’re not doing much of a job finishing off their games either. About the only th

    THE BLOW by Whispering Jack

Narrm’s finals prospects took a crushing blow after the team’s insipid performance at Optus Stadium against a confident Waaljit Marawar in the first of its Doug Nicholls Round outings for 2024.  I use the description “crushing blow” advisedly because, although the season is not yet at it’s halfway mark, the Demons have now failed abysmally in two of their games against teams currently occupying bottom eight places on the ladder.  The manner in which these losing games were played out w

HALF FULL by KC from Casey

It was a case of the Casey Demons going into a game with a glass half full in their match up against the Brisbane Lions at Casey Fields on Saturday. As the list of injured and unavailable AFL and VFL listed players continues to grow and with Melbourne taking all three emergencies to Perth for the weekend on a “just in case” basis, its little brother was always destined to struggle. Casey was left with only eight AFL listed players from who to select their team but only two - an out-of-form

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k
