Mark Neeld: has failed on all accounts,needs to be replaced.

Brian Royal: been there to long,take long service and retire.

Administrative Roles: Pay decent money and hire best person for job, not necessary a Melbourne person, the best available with a proven track record.

President: An high profile person that has a voice and is respected in the community,must attract attention to club, with a positive spin.

Jumper: tell the AFL to get stuffed and we are only wearing our traditional strip.

Players to leave at years end: Jamar, Frawley,Silvia,Davey. Whether by free agency or delisted.

Captaincy: take off Grimes and Trengove and let them concentrate on their game, give the job to Nathan Jones, he has all the attributes and will stand tall.

Jack Watts: give him a position prefably in forward line and set him goals and KPI he must meet each game.

Back line: players must be taught to take game on, do not play from behind all the time, keep eye on ball and stay goal side of opponent.

Recruiting: draft players with a footy brain and bodies that are ready to play,we don't have the luxury of waiting a few years. Too many times I think vertical leap, beep test and height takes preference over guys that can actually play or have the mental toughness to suceed.

Game day: if a player is not fit or is poorly out of form do not play them.

Coaching appointment: never again should Melbourne hire a fresh unproven Coach, only he best no matter what the cost.

Apart from Malthouse in 2010 I think you have to go back until 2003 (Matthews/Brisbane) to find a premiership coach who didn't start at that club fresh and unproven.

FWIW I don't disagree with you... just giving that argument some perspective.

So since James Frawley is under contract and not available for FA, are you suggesting we give him some sort of pay out and delist him. If Frawley leaves, and I don't want him too, it has to be for very decent compensation.

If Frawley wants to leave this year, I'd only accept a top 10 draft pick for him. We simply cannot afford to let a valuable full back go for nothing. And he can go and get stuffed if he's going to hold the club for ransom.

And at the end of next year, we simply match the highest offer under free agency. Sick of quality players leaving the joint.

I honestly stopped reading after the jumper point.

Who gives a rats clacker what jumper we wear.

I think some people see a correlation between our horrible form and the white clash strip.

Very generous of you BBP to credit this thread with that much thought.

On a personal level a few apologies would be nice directed at myself and Tona? B (19)and RR very quiet.

No. Neeld needs to go for a multitude of reasons now but it was completely stupid to call for a first year coach's head 6 games into his contract - some peanuts may claim some sort of divine foresight now but most of them wanted MN sacked because it didnt look likely he would win a flag in 2012.

An infinitely more sensible option than Kevin Sheedy as CEO.
