My brother flew to Thailand today via Perth and told me that Cale Morton was on his flight. You story does check out...!

I thought nothing of it until a guy my mate follows on Twitter, posted a photo of Morton 200ms from Eagles HQ.

He heard him on the phone saying "It went well, I guess. We'll see what happens."

Probably having a medical with Claremont FC. If Mitchell & Blackwell get mature aged rookie spots somewhere the Tigers will need a good replacement

I'll be very sorry to see him go if indeed he does so. I can't deny that he has failed to live up to the potential he showed as a youngster, but he just looked so good during those couple of good seasons he had. I know I'm not the only one here who thought we had a genuine star on our hands. The loss of that hope will hurt, even if the reality is that he has never lived up to it.

Who are all of these clowns that join up on this site and immediately start slagging off our players? It seems you only register to put the boot in...

I can confirm Cale is attempting to go to the Weagles

Cale in Perth

Asked how he was going, he replied "fingers crossed and see how we go."

Given that the bloke who took the photo and posted it on twitter is a regular contributor on here, it would seem to be common courtesy to quote your source.

Yeah i know because on this site for some reason you are inferior if you have less posts.

Well, you are inferior in that other posters have no track record on which to judge your posts. If the first thing you do when you start posting is to attack players, this is the only information we have on which to base judgements.

Nothing to do with being inferior... I am simply questioning their motives for joining.

Looking at that photo, it could be anyone... hardly a clear image.

WC first pick s 41 then 44 would much rather a player then a pick, maybe 44 would get us Pedro

If he played for North they would want pick 1.

Well I can tell you that no one who joins does it simply to slag of our players. However in some instances if they do not like the player they should be allowed to make a few jokes here and there. Lighten up

If you squint your eyes really hard and tilt your head to the left it looks a little bit like Cale... Cale or any other tall, slim guy with brown hair.

Good call HT maybe they should wait until they ave 100 posts up first

No, after 500 I might find it acceptable.... actually, forget that, I find all of the player bashing that goes on here far too predictable and tiresome.

You'd be surprised at the trolls that come on here.

Bagging Cale Morton the footballer is surely ok on a football forum. Bagging Cale Morton the bloke needs to be backed up with facts or left off.

If they were jokes (and funny ones at that), I might have a laugh, but unfortunately, I don't see too much to laugh at in a post that simply says "bloody hell, I hope this is true" or, "he is from WA. hope this is true and not a cruel joke" - don't know about you, but they didn't exactly have me rolling in the aisles.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

Some veteran Demonland Trackwatchers ventured down to Gosch's Paddock to bring you the following observations from another Preseason Training Session. WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

A couple of intrepid Demonland Trackwatchers headed down to Gosch's Paddock for the midweek Preseason Training Session to bring you the following observations. Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
