Agree it doesn't look great, but looking at his career stats he's kick 33.17. As long as they go through.

He is a cripple. 28 games in 6 years is an absolute joke. If I wanted someone to play 4.67 games per season I'd bring Byron Pickett back to run through and injure four people a match.

The thing that I like about Dawes is his hunger for contest - even when not taking marks he is tackling, chasing, contesting, shepherding. He didnt stop doing these things this season- he just wasnt clunking marks like the previous two years. (Excepting Clark) we have a similar type of footballer at the MFC called...ummm... called ...ummm..ok -we just dont.

People need to remember before we got Clark we were chasing Dawes. If we can have both that would be a huge bonus and would set the forward structure for the next five years with Hogan coming through.

I've been in the camp that pick 20 is too much for Dawes, but having said that I acknowledge he's a good fit for the club structurally.

When I look at Viney at pick 26, as well as securing Hogan, who I reckon will be a star, then I accept that paying overs for Dawes still puts the club ahead. And I really like Pedersen as a footballer.

Viney, Hogan, Barry, Dawes, Pedersen, Byrnes, and Ray wouldn't be a bad first week of trade week.

I'm not happy if we have to give up pick 20.

He is not worth 20 and we still need to build our midfield.

I'm very happy with trading one of our top 20 picks for a tall (Hogan), but to trade another one for another KPF in Dawes is a bit too much for me. I was really hoping we'd pick up 3 gun midfielders with JV, pick 4 and 20.

Hopefully we can get the deal done without losing 20.

A very Smart move from the Dees. A 24 yr old who is a good footballer but not a champion. he is a KPF who will be hiting his straps and in his prime. In an age group that the club needs. He will compliment Mitch and help the development of Hogan.

I just hope we get back pick 39 as a result
