Hey guys, I am leading the SDA/Woolworths national tipping by 1 haha and it's like $1000 for first... i am seriously pondering tipping against us this week and also Richmond over Freo at Subi.. what are everyones thoughts on this game.. GWS will go all out for the win as they have last sewn up now even if they beat us.... they should have some very handy ins you'd think

What do you think the odds will be.. Demons 1.50.. gws 2.40.... it's disgusting but i seriously might back them:( can see a repeat of the Port game but not as bigger margin.. either way whoever wins it will be under 6 goals i'd say....

Wouldn't suprise me to see us come out the week after and push Adelaide all the way as they will basically have top 1 or 2 sewn up providing they Beat Brisbane next week... and we have Greens farewell match and good memories of when we played them at THE G last year...

given what is at stake... I won't comment either way.

But just remember the game is a 'Home' game for GWS, but it is at Manuka Oval.... so not the same as playing @ Skoda stadium.

why dont they want to win?? even if they win they are going to be last now on % to GC.. oh i forgot the Manuka factor.. hmmmmm.. i will probably play safe.. the other 2 tippers behind me have also been backing favourites the last few weeks.. very happy if i can just tip the same as them each week haha:P... but I definately feel Richmond will beat Freo.. they play well against them over there... not sold on Freo!! think Carlton and Geelong/North sneak into 6th, 7th, 8th

GWS and GC on both on 2 wins.

It's a case of Who Dares Win...Loses.

lol

That one was pretty good.

And Freo beat WCE last week by ten goals.

Richmond play well in the west, but not well enough

Luke Power's 300th game! What you have to way up is the young bodies in a team not all that keen on winning or kids who will get up for a champs 300th and want to finish off the bottom.

The opinion of the GWS recruiter on the difference between Whitfield and the number 2 pick might play a role in the result of this one.

Also the pride of our players, inparticular our midfield and someone like Tom McDonald who will likely play on Cameron.

I reakon well smash 'em again.

As for your tipping.

If yer in front I'd be tipping favorites.

Let the chasers make the risky moves.

Having said that , yer in front , ya must be doing something right.

Keep doing it.

We are the third worst team in the comp, but I don't think beating the sides below us has been a problem this year. We thumped GWS and blew GC away in the the 1st quarter, and I don't see the days where we don't turn up and get beat a bottom side or pumped by 100+ returning under Neeld.

Demons will win by 4 goals. We'll probably play good in the 1st quatre, horrible in the 2nd, fantastic in the 3rd and average in the 4th. GWS will play good in the 1st, good in the 2nd, Horrible in the 3rd and give up in the 4th.

GWS have shut up shop for the year

To the OP'er :

I dont think they've shut op shop as such as dc intimates, but having Ward and Greene both out IS significant no matter who you listen to. Having Patton out as well alters their structure up forward.

I'd be tipping Melbourne and Freo. But with not a lot of confidence. I'd wait until Friday and see selections.

Fwiw right now, I give both GWS and Richmond chances to win. Last roll of the dice for Tigers mathematically speaking.

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last

    LIFE SUPPORT by Whispering Jack

With Melbourne’s season hanging on a thread, Saturday night’s game against North Melbourne unfolded like a scene in a hospital emergency department.  The patient presented to the ward in a bad way. Doctors and nurses pumped life-saving medication into his body and, in the ensuing half hour, he responded with blood returning to his cheeks as he stirred back to life. After a slight relapse, the nurses pumped further medication into the bloodstream and the prognosis started looking good as the

GAMEDAY: Rd 15 vs North Melbourne

It's Game Day and it very well could be the last roll of the dice for the Demon's finals aspirations in 2024. A loss to the bottom side would be another embarrassing moment in a cursed year for the Dees whilst a win could be the spark they need to reignite the fire in the belly.

    THE HUNTER by The Oracle

Something struck me as I sat on the couch watching the tragedy of North Melbourne’s attempt to beat Collingwood unfold on Sunday afternoon at the MCG.    It was three quarter time, the scoreboard had the Pies on 12.7.79, a respectable 63.16% in terms of goal kicking ratio. Meanwhile, the Roos’ 18.2.110 was off the charts at 90.00% shooting accuracy. I was thinking at the same time of Melbourne’s final score only six days before, a woeful 6.15.51 or 28.57% against Collingwood’s 14.5.89

    FROZEN by Whispering Jack

Who would have thought?    Collingwood had a depleted side with several star players out injured, Max Gawn was in stellar form, Christian Petracca at the top of his game and Simon Goodwin was about to pull off a masterstroke in setting Alex Neal-Bullen onto him to do a fantastic job in subduing the Magpies' best player. Goody had his charges primed to respond robustly to the challenge of turning around their disappointing performance against Fremantle in Alice Springs. And if not that, t
