We call that passion.

I know it doesn't look very friendly but I wish they all played like him .

I call it dumb, giving away frees and 50's and looking like your intention is to hurt opposition players and not just sore i mean injure the opposition is not on.

The thing about Morton is he is a momentum killer with his turnovers

Jolly needs a massive carrott . Big girl .

Blease needs to learn to be team orientated, pass the ball, handball, Shepard, when in space he can run, so annoying! Malthouse hates him too

jamar is a good ruckman but can't defend, he doesn't get forward at all either, and if he does it is uselessly

Tom McDonald absolute star, proved me wrong, but I still hate his disposal!

Green is done and dusted

Tapscott might have a few weeks off, but I doubt he will get suspended for anything he did

How do you beat a team where Wellibgham is not in their top few mids?

Violence-the same way you unsettle any bunch of bullies.

Oh God... I saw Watts and Sylvia smile as they shook hands with their opponents... should I start a new thread?

Yeah, Cale really screwed us with his turnovers. I think any progress he's made is still overshadowed by this flaw

Maybe in netball sweetheart but this is a little bit different.

It's bad enough when he does it under pressure, let alone when under no pressure at all. Nicholson in the same boat atm

Swan, Beames, Pendlebury, Sidebottom, Wellingham, Ball et al

I'm happy to call it. We need a midfield more than a gorilla. And how can they keep them all under the salary cap?

Morton was a long way short of our worst today.

Which is our problem. Not a comforting thought at all....

How is someone laughn at a players performance not relevant to this thread

Some good things today, but a hell of a lot of crap, which should hopefully re-inforce to those who got a bit worked up after the win, that we are a long way off it, still. Morton, Nicholson and Jamar turned the ball over so many times today I lost count. Blease looks fantastic but does the same thing every time he gets the ball (which is to grab it and run. Sometimes it works, and it's great. Sometimes he gets caught). Really like his run though.

Don't know why Rivers went forward, but it looked OK. Clark was great again; Green not so much. Grimes in the middle was great too.

so guys...still want Cloke....or a Midfield ????

Midfield please :)

We lost by 46 points but i'm not that unhappy with it. We are not that far away. Grime was brilliant today and Trengove was not as bad as this thread would have us believe. Still see a much improved second half of the year ahead.

Mate its 2012, you dont go out to intentionally injure any player, and if thats what you think well then you are still stuck in the 80's, terribly poor form.

Be hard, be tough but dont be a tool.......Tapscott was crossing the line today and many neutral commentators thought he showed poor form. I agree with them.

MATCH SIM: Friday 7th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Demonland Trackwatchers were out in force as the Demons returned to Gosch's Paddock for preseason training on Wednesday morning. GHOSTWRITER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Kozzie a no show. Tommy Sparrow was here last week in civvies and wearing sunnies. He didn’t train. Today he’s training but he’s wearing goggles so he’s likely got an eye injury. There’s a drill where Selwyn literally lies on top of Tracc, a trainer dribbles the ball towards them and Tracc has to g

THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years. The big fall came in 2024 with a collapse into the bottom six and a 14th placing. At Casey, the 2022 VFL p
