Someone please just smash Robinson, proper smash, none of these free kick type smashes, if Beamer isn't going to get his game going he should do us a favour and iron the guy out.

It is a testimony to how poor we really are, that this average player can look like a star whenever we take the field.

Brent Moloney / Lynden Dunn, please give me something to remember you by so that in 10 years time, when your name comes up in a cryptic quiz on SEN (if even it ever does) I remember who you are.

Ahhh Mitch,we just need to get the ball into his hands,he does the rest.

Loving Sammy's run & carry.

Jones has 8 disposals to half time and Moloney,Magner,Jordie & Howe have 7 each-these 5 need huge 2nd halves.

Losing CP 76-72 and Tackles 39-32.

I'm starting to get a bad feeling about Jack Trengove as a player. He is just so damned slow.

2 possessions in a half of footy WTF??

Not worried. He's a little off, but there's a heap of almost in his game. Slightly better touch and we'll see the almosts become posessions, then he'll show what he can really do.

Need more or something out of Trengove and Moloney

I think a part of the problem could be that ALL the mids are just trying to win the ball because we struggle so badly to get possession, so unlike good teams, there's no one blocking etc to free up our "main" mids, and Trenners and Moloney are not the quality of someone like a Judd or Ablett who can break a tag.

Agree with Blease. If we have another injection of pace, he will thrive more I feel.

Clearances ?

Jamie Bennell

This is really your turn to give us some run .

Beamer-prove us all wrong and turn the game.

We can win this if a few people extract some fingers .

Anyone see that goal from K. Harper on the tv coverage? Very impressive.

Love to get him at the Dees....three mates could reunite in a magnificent midfield in 2 years' time.

Blease, Harper and Gys.

Trengove was running with Simpson in the 2nd quarter and kept him to 4 disposals.

Great, another high draft pick who's going to be either a loose man in defence or a tagger...

Every time I see him he's chasing tail and not very quickly at that.

I hope you're right.

We chose this lad over Dustin Martin. It's high time he showed us why.

Martin had 33 touches and 2 goals in another game breaking performance yesterday. Why do we never seem to unearth talent like that?

While scum did a get a run on we have fought back well and are getting in and under fighting well for the ball, good signs from the lads, skills arrrrrrrhh……

I've been watching bits and pieces, this is what I gleamed.

Apart from the first half of the second quarter we've been fighting for every ball, in Greens case this has sent him to hospital. Blease has been excellent with his dash. Watts is looking very prominent in the back line and has done very good hard things.

A few soft goals and opportunities gone begging, but plenty to like atm, can we sustain it?

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last

    LIFE SUPPORT by Whispering Jack

With Melbourne’s season hanging on a thread, Saturday night’s game against North Melbourne unfolded like a scene in a hospital emergency department.  The patient presented to the ward in a bad way. Doctors and nurses pumped life-saving medication into his body and, in the ensuing half hour, he responded with blood returning to his cheeks as he stirred back to life. After a slight relapse, the nurses pumped further medication into the bloodstream and the prognosis started looking good as the

GAMEDAY: Rd 15 vs North Melbourne

It's Game Day and it very well could be the last roll of the dice for the Demon's finals aspirations in 2024. A loss to the bottom side would be another embarrassing moment in a cursed year for the Dees whilst a win could be the spark they need to reignite the fire in the belly.

    THE HUNTER by The Oracle

Something struck me as I sat on the couch watching the tragedy of North Melbourne’s attempt to beat Collingwood unfold on Sunday afternoon at the MCG.    It was three quarter time, the scoreboard had the Pies on 12.7.79, a respectable 63.16% in terms of goal kicking ratio. Meanwhile, the Roos’ 18.2.110 was off the charts at 90.00% shooting accuracy. I was thinking at the same time of Melbourne’s final score only six days before, a woeful 6.15.51 or 28.57% against Collingwood’s 14.5.89

    FROZEN by Whispering Jack

Who would have thought?    Collingwood had a depleted side with several star players out injured, Max Gawn was in stellar form, Christian Petracca at the top of his game and Simon Goodwin was about to pull off a masterstroke in setting Alex Neal-Bullen onto him to do a fantastic job in subduing the Magpies' best player. Goody had his charges primed to respond robustly to the challenge of turning around their disappointing performance against Fremantle in Alice Springs. And if not that, t
