Weak as [censored]

Are we all massively over rating our current list?

We all bang on how super talented they are & look out after 2012

,

I reckon we have made some bad decisions in the type of player we have taken

Why cant our early draft picks have the impact of the Darling's, Joel Selwoods, Rich's, Pendlebury's of the world?

& why did The Eagle's bodies look so much bigger than ours?

So over being the laughing stock of this competition

Are we all massively over rating our current list?

We always do.

We all bang on how super talented they are & look out after 2012

Have noticed that each year the 'window' gets nudged back.

,

I reckon we have made some bad decisions in the type of player we have taken

Dees have always preferred a skilled 'potential' over a hard big-bodied player with less potential to improve

Why cant our early draft picks have the impact of the Darling's, Joel Selwoods, Rich's, Pendlebury's of the world?

Would be nice!

& why did The Eagle's bodies look so much bigger than ours?

See above. Darling vs Cook - I know who I would back in a wrestling contest. One of the reasons I was happy we got TAPPY. Actually has some meat on his bones.

MFC need 22 players with the heart of Jack Trengove. was at it all night..

Jack Watts, well if he keeps this up he will progress quicker than expected. I was very surprised in him last night. And again players are ignoring him, best example was when jones sitting on the 50 ignored watts and then finally gave it to him and it all went to poo.

Posted

Green - why he captain

Jones - really not special

Bartram - scared to kick

Watts - only one playing

Gysberts - slowly coming along

Bennell - he was there?

Frawley - out of form

Trengove - some poor decisions

Morton - rather have McLean

Sylvia - totally went missing

Dunn - back to 2nds

Grimes - should be captain

Garland - getting really good

Moloney - was rather quiet

Jurrah - wasn't his fault

Rivers - not good enough

Wonaeamirri - has played better

Martin - first poor game

Tapscott - huge right foot

Davey - will not challenge

Jamar - Russian was good

Bail - persistence is best

Bailey - cannot understand it

Posted

Sylvia - turned toes up

This player loves himself way too much. when he tripped over his own ego in the middle had the audacity to blame Stef Martin for not laying a block.

Colin Sylvia you are a tool and get over yourself. Good thing you are off to GWS.

Green - poor leadership example

Jones - up and going

Bartram - good solid game

Watts - grit and poise

Gysberts - did he play?

Bennell - only plays outside

Frawley - Casey game required

Trengove - really strong game

Morton - physically, mentally weak

Sylvia - Casey wake-up required

Dunn - Casey game required

Grimes - move to midfield

Garland - continual super effort

Moloney - focus of tagging

Jurrah - very little opportunity

Rivers - OK I suppose

Wonaeamirri - very disappointing game

Martin - very dumb game

Tapscott - must be accountable (for opponent)

Davey - another soft game

Jamar - outclassed by superstar

Bail - good, hard work

Three word analysis of team performance

Totally lacked ticker

Three word analysis of leadership group

unacceptably heartless effort (Jones excluded from this)

Three word analysis of coaching performance

Totally agree.

Grimes on Darling in the first half had me throwing the remote at the tv. He is an offensive player and he is not accontable at the moment. Whats the point of having grimes and tappy in the backline when all we did was kick the ball to a flock of eagles standing on their own in the centre square. Not once were they used in the middle. Bailey is destroying Grimes!

Green - Oh no.

Jones - would suit Casey

Bartram - honest but average

Watts - not his worst

Gysberts - I'm very thin

Bennell - did he play

Frawley - not in AA form

Trengove - I hope Tom stays

Morton - must be kidding

Sylvia - get up

Dunn - weak as [censored]

Grimes - don't kick it there

Garland - thank Heavens

Moloney - welcome at casey

Jurrah - did he play

Rivers - Oh Jared!

Wonaeamirri - did he play

Martin - keeps developing

Tapscott - don't know

Davey - almost done at this level

Jamar - valiant

Bail - just ok in patches.

Natanui - Must be kidding

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
