GWS signings

If news reports are true that GWS has three 'sleeper' players signed, then the players likely to chase the $$$ for the dream of playing under (AFL nutcase) Sheedy would likely be established stars with clubs which have gone past twelve o'clock, or which have marginal prospects to smash through the premiership window. At least that is the positive way to look at it for those of us who fret about losing our star-in-the-making Tom Scully. So I am offering up these names:

* Jimmy Bartel,

* Marc Murphy and

* Daniel Rich.

Not sure about him nostra. He gets in all matter of strife.

"Top signing" you say WYL??!!! I doubt that. B.Bear lacks too much on field communication.

Actions speak louder than words HT. Humphrey is a master at it.

Look what he achieved for years!!!

Hahah actually you are right.. He never wears pants and he "loves" childeren, trees and animals too FFS... dangerous role model for the people of West Sydney.

I think anyone who is out of contract at the end of this year is going to be looked at as a possible GWS signing. I would be shocked if we lose any of our players to this mob.

You don't realise how important Scully is to us winning a premiership do you.

Please, please, please do not turn this into another Scully hasn't signed / is going/gone to GWS thread...

I think Scully is very important to us. However, if he or whoever does not want to play for his jumper- get him out of the club. That happened to Bruce somewhat..In life as well as football everyone is replacable..And Scully is one of my favourite players whom I feel will be a one club player- But I am very serious ,when I say-if one wants to leave- go- best of luck ..I remember when Farmer wanted to leave and Lyon as well as another went to get him back, he went a couple of years later for money..let them go is what I say..and I believe that is what Bailey said to McLean and to some extent - Chris Johnson.

It's already happened...

Waahhhh!! He's hasn't signed by Round 1 and you know what that means? It means he is going!!! He's going! I hate him! We didn't need him in the first place! Blease will replace him! I will replace him! Why didn't we do enough to keep him?! Should Bailey go because of it?! Chris Connolly is so abrasive! All I did was act like a [censored] and he was so abrasive! The girl at the club is so emotional! She cries whenever I yell down the phone at her!

I'm conflicted, and on a horse.

The words Daniel Rich and established star dont quite fit in the same sentence

    FROZEN by Whispering Jack

    Who would have thought?    Collingwood had a depleted side with several star players out injured, Max Gawn was in stellar form, Christian Petracca at the top of his game and Simon Goodwin was about to pull off a masterstroke in setting Alex Neal-Bullen onto him to do a fantastic job in subduing the Magpies' best player. Goody had his charges primed to respond robustly to the challenge of turning around their disappointing performance against Fremantle in Alice Springs. And if not that, t

The Demons led from the start to record a 52-point victory. It was their highest score and biggest winning margin by far for the 2024 season. Under cloudy but calm conditions for Casey Fields, the home side, wearing the old Springvale guernsey as a mark of res

    BOILED LOLLIES by The Oracle

    In the space of a month Melbourne has gone from chocolates to boiled lollies in terms of its standing as a candidate for the AFL premiership.  The club faces its moment of truth against a badly bruised up Collingwood at the MCG. A win will give it some respite but even then, it won’t be regarded particularly well being against an opponent carrying the burden of an injured playing list. A loss would be a disaster. The Demons have gone from a six/two win/loss ratio and a strong percentag

    CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

    The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an
