That is very premature. They are putting an enormous amount of faith in Grant and Jones. With luck Hall goes down early and they are stuck with no forwards for most of the season.

Unless I've missed something like an injury problem or a personal issue about him that's escaped me, I would say that Hahn is going to come under demand from a few clubs and will most likely be one of the first cast offs selected in the draft.

What I find strange is that it seems to me that Hahn, at 29, would suit the Hawks style much better than Cam Bruce and be capable of giving them more years of service. If I were a Hawthorn supporter having lost Campbell Brown's toughness, I would be asking why my club isn't going for him rather than Bruce.

Just a thought.

Hahn has done little over the past 2 years and has been usurped by Grant and Hall.

Football is a cruel game if you have lost form for an extended period of time and you are in your last year of contract at 29.

Hahn was negligible in his contribution in 2010 and his 2009 was nothinh special.

38 goals is a handy return for a medium forward. 19 is not great, but after one year I wouldn't have thought it was delisting material.

I admit I didn't see a lot of the Bulldogs this year, but I would've thought that Hahn would've been worth an extra year even if his recent season or so has been poor. Guess I was wrong.

Anyone who thinks the Dogs have done the wrong thing need to go and look at Hahn's form in 2010.

Once you've done that, you'll realise why they let him go.

Thanks. So he is a drifter between forward and back. Neither one of the other. He may not have nailed a position in their final push to a flag.

Then it's know wonder they struggled down back. Losing the likes of Morris, Hargraeve and even Lake briefly, would have contributed to this move.

The Bulldogs were a shadow of their previous years form up back and down front with the absence of Aker, Johnson and the impotent form from Higgins, Hill and Hahn. Hall & Grant were the shining lights.
