times have changed. and they have for some time already.

Have you heard about a word called tradition. This is what we as a club is built on..listen to Cam on W.W..

I am not scared of change-however as stated easrlier, there is NO white in our normal guernsey so WHY do we need to add it to our alternative.Does not make sense to me..I understand the reasons we have had white- but to me not acceptable reasons.

I don't agree with it, but how it does not make sense to you is ridiculous.

Just want to make mention the terrific work done in attendence performance at our games. Alot of work

done by Cam and others over the season one great initiative I thought was getting Cam Sinclair to jump at the

MCG it was awesome entertainment and i reckon the MFC could become pioneers in game entertainment. Catering beyond the

usual attractions and bring the masses through the gates.

We had a season with 1 friday night game, 6 saturday day games, 3 saturday night games, 9 Sunday day games

2 Sunday twilight games and 1 Queens Birthday game.

Our total home game attendence was up by 100K our total away up by 55k.

we did play collingwood twice but we played adelaide, west coast, port adelaide (at TIO), Sydney all in home games

Our attendences are up by 25% compare to last year

So to reward our increase attendence and relevance I demand at least 3-4 Friday games and 7 Saturday night games time

to get the mfc on prime time and free to air.

Some would argue ... There would be no MFC if it weren't for the AFL.

Others would argue that there would be no AFL without the MFC

It was a club before it was a competition

I take this stance, but it was because of this stance that we have "Mucked Up" the last 45 odd years. So may we all learn from it and build a stronger club out of it (That at some stage can step away from these obscene Clash Jumpers!!!!) B)

Yep, it's a prett simple concept.

The sole purpose of a clash strip is to use different colours to avoid a clash.

NO, not "different colours", just white according to the AFL

And, only perceived (not actual in most cases) "clashes" in the eyes of the AFL

And, according to some, not the "sole" purpose

Again, you oversimplify it E25

I do love me a good conspiracy.

But I happen to see where the AFL is going with the clashes.

I agree that they are there and that white is best for a clash strip.

So, uh... Cameron Schwab eh?

Top bloke that Schwabby...

Hope I get a chance to see his next ustream.

You could try pedaling that argument with AD ... but I reckon he might just prefer to privately discuss a few "small" financial matters. Dont know if it was good advice ... but somebody once said to me "Never bite the hand that feeds you."

Schwabby mentioned that the demon that would be reintroduced next year would be from the 1960's and not the 1933 one that some people said it would be.

I found this on ebay. I am pretty sure that this will not be it, but it states it is a demons sticker from the 1960's http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?VISuperSize&item=330470852559

Anyone have anything else from the 1960's with a demon on it?

Yeah but we won't be using a WEG image as a logo. It is copyrighted for starters, and secondly, it is a cartoon. Not something that would go on a polo shirt or footy.

never said we would, he just asked for demon images of the 60's

it still gives you an impression of what a demon of that era could look like.

someone could take inspiration from aspects of it and do a more modern interptetation?

anyway its already been done and this is all just a bit of speculative fluff

The demon we will be using is one that is 'making a comeback'. It is not new, its not soemthing the club are designing. I guess I assumed you knew that, as CS has made mentioned of it here and through twitter.

He being me? Now i am confused. Who asked?

Probably semantics, but I took CS to mean that it will be "based-on" a 60's demon not necessarily identical. What the differences are we will have to wait and see

LOL, yes you, sorry, didn't take notice.

You said "Anyone have anything else from the 1960's with a demon on it?"

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
