Neither can I.

Love the enthusiasm that Trenners shows after a win he looks as if he loves the club already. Love his attack on the ball and his clean hands.

Love the way Scully puts his body on the line to extract the pill and his capacity to get clear from the congestion.

It's a bit like asking which leg you like most.

Too hard. One has a quiet patch and the other steps up, and both are only going to get better. Ask me again in 4 years.

It will still be just as hard. Theyl both be stars.

Scully will become the premier midfielder in the league in the next 5 or 6 years.

Trengove will become one of the best midfielders in the league in 3 to 4 years.

It's a bit like asking which [censored] you like most.

Edited for accuracy. Apologies to the female or gender-neutral posters on the board :P

Chose Scully, but only because there was a poll there... it's too hard (TWSS).

God I hate the term Sculgove

x2 sounds bloody rediculous!!!!!!!

On the topic so glad the fd didn't have too choose one as I think it would have been scully and we would be watching trengove with what ifs. I am split 50/50 they are diffident types with excellent qualities and should become best of mates for a long and very successfull career with the MFC! It's just a tad exciting!

You might as well ask me to choose a favourite pair of shoes, or to select between Chanel and Prada. It's just not going to happen.

Scully and Trengove, Trengove and Scully, whichever way you look at it, I love them both.

HA!

You picked the wroooooong board... But I love it anyway.

For mine? Scully. For what it's worth though, I reckon Trengove will be consistent, Scully will have 3-4 ok weeks, then will play the best game/quarter you'll ever see. In other words, Scully's best footy, I think, might just pip Trengove's. Trengove's overall footy will be more meaningful in 22 rounds than Scully's.

IMpossible to pick.

I voted for Trenners, as currently IMO he's more effective & damages the oppostion. He does a lot of team things which many supporters are not in the habit of looking for. These team assists bring others into the limelight, who then take the accolades.Trenners is a beauty.

As far as who I think will be better, I can't tell, suffice to say i don't care, I'm just glad we have the 2 of them.

Scully's handballing reminds me of Grep Williams, incredibly creative. Trenner's all round high level of skill closer to Buckley.

Yep but remember Scully can actually run faster than treacle on a slow day.

Until Scully improves his kicking give me Trengove any day.

If he's still kicking like he is in a few years time we will be regretting his selection, no matter how good he is going.

Out of all the positives about Scully you had to sort through them and find the one negative which isn't even that bad.

    FROZEN by Whispering Jack

Who would have thought?    Collingwood had a depleted side with several star players out injured, Max Gawn was in stellar form, Christian Petracca at the top of his game and Simon Goodwin was about to pull off a masterstroke in setting Alex Neal-Bullen onto him to do a fantastic job in subduing the Magpies' best player. Goody had his charges primed to respond robustly to the challenge of turning around their disappointing performance against Fremantle in Alice Springs. And if not that, t

    TURNAROUND by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons won their first game at home this year in the traditional King’s Birthday Weekend clash with Collingwood VFL on Sunday in a dramatic turnaround on recent form that breathed new life into the beleaguered club’s season. The Demons led from the start to record a 52-point victory. It was their highest score and biggest winning margin by far for the 2024 season. Under cloudy but calm conditions for Casey Fields, the home side, wearing the old Springvale guernsey as a mark of res

It's Game Day and the Demons are once again faced with a classic 8 point game against a traditional rival on King's Birthday at the MCG. A famous victory will see them reclaim a place in the Top 8 whereas a loss will be another blow for their finals credentials.

    BOILED LOLLIES by The Oracle

In the space of a month Melbourne has gone from chocolates to boiled lollies in terms of its standing as a candidate for the AFL premiership.  The club faces its moment of truth against a badly bruised up Collingwood at the MCG. A win will give it some respite but even then, it won’t be regarded particularly well being against an opponent carrying the burden of an injured playing list. A loss would be a disaster. The Demons have gone from a six/two win/loss ratio and a strong percentag

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an
