My preference is streaks ahead of the rest of them. The best big man in the draft is AARON BLACK for me!

Picked Vardy, due to the fact that I feel we need a solid ruck more than we need a KPF. While this goes against my idea of selecting the best available, Vardy will be in amongst the big list that could be classed as the best available at that pick.

Couldn't go past Butcher.

As rough as he is, its his interview that impressed me the most. I think that inconsistency will be a thing f the past in three years time, making him by far the best of the talls

If he's still there, the club would take Butcher in a heart beat! I've seen him up close a few times this year, and am more than impressed with what he can do. If available, he would be a huge asset for the club.

Black would be my second pick, as I still think that we need another tall down forward to develop along side Watts and Jurrah to provide that potent forward combo that I have been waiting so long for!

Bring on the draft!

Has anybody seen Levi Casboult play?

The videos on draft machine show him taking contested mark after contested mark - and kicking the ball along way. I note that he's not in Shifta's top 30. He's a big boy - and he appears relatively agile for his size.Has he got an attitude problem - or does the draft machine just flatter him? I'm not necessarily suggesting him for #11 - but perhaps a later pick?

Is this based on the highlights on youtube?

Or have you seen him play?

I havnt seen him play live. So thats no!

I have seen his highlights on you tube and draft tracker. But I have also read alot about him and he is quite impress

My decision is based on both of what I have seen and read. He has so many more attributes than Butcher its not funny!

Consistency is a huge issue for me! Black has that. Butcher doesnt! Butcher seems to be a lazy type of footballer from what I have read and seen. And is more one dimensional type of player where Black is very versatile and atheltic and he knows where to run on the footy field.

BLACK hands down for me!

I hope Port or Essendon take the Butch!

For someone like me who doesn't have a good grasp of the candidates apart from online "enlightenment" I went for Butcher as a safe option although Black would be my 2nd. One thing I am sure of is that if we get Black then our two big forwards will be collectively known as "Black Jack".

IMO There are some outstanding prospects within the top dozen picks in this years draft but NONE of them are TALLS

Very keen on Tapscott and predict he will be the smokey in this years draft

Pick 11 i hope he is a DEMON

I hope that was a joke. We have the worst midfield in the comp and have just lost McLean.

I think it was meant as in - we will have just picked up Scully and Trengove, we have Grimes and Morton developing, and Sylvia, Moloney, Davey and Jones in there at the moment. Then add in prospects Strauss and Blease, and the fact that we will probably pick up another mid with either 11 or 18, and you can see that at some stage, we need to look at key-position players.

Im not sure about Tappy at 11. He is very similar to Maric who we already have coming through.

Stevens, Lucas or Melksham if available and go for a mid.

Im sure we will go tall though...

    FROZEN by Whispering Jack

Who would have thought?    Collingwood had a depleted side with several star players out injured, Max Gawn was in stellar form, Christian Petracca at the top of his game and Simon Goodwin was about to pull off a masterstroke in setting Alex Neal-Bullen onto him to do a fantastic job in subduing the Magpies' best player. Goody had his charges primed to respond robustly to the challenge of turning around their disappointing performance against Fremantle in Alice Springs. And if not that, t

    BOILED LOLLIES by The Oracle

In the space of a month Melbourne has gone from chocolates to boiled lollies in terms of its standing as a candidate for the AFL premiership.  The club faces its moment of truth against a badly bruised up Collingwood at the MCG. A win will give it some respite but even then, it won’t be regarded particularly well being against an opponent carrying the burden of an injured playing list. A loss would be a disaster. The Demons have gone from a six/two win/loss ratio and a strong percentag

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an
