Joeboy thanks for your efforts during the year, your comments create a lot of discussion and you're on a hiding to nothing. I think we found out when you were away that the three word analysis is not easy to do.

Well done and I hope you're up for it again next year.

BTW I reckon you finished on a high!

Thought the Wheatley "super goal" was a nice touch. I also thought when he was doing the kickins, he was kicking it in to the centre square just to humour the fans rather than for any tactical reason. It made me smile anyway. IMO he played a very good game considering he was on one leg and straight out of not playing for the Casey twos for a few weeks.

Wheels and Robbo had last games to forget, but who cares? It was fantastic that they were both out there. Especially for Wheels that he was able to fall across the line for 150.

Sylvia, Frawley (Riewoldt bag notwithstanding), Morton, Jamar all fantastic. Jeez I can't wait for next year.

Thought Bartrams game was worthy of more than than the 'a solid game' comment especially against the top of the ladder team.

Thanks Joeboy - always enjoy reading the comments.

Bartram's game was good, but he let himself down with some silly handballs into traffic. Seems to lack a radar as to where he is in relation to teammates and opposition players.

Thing about Jetta and Bennell is that they certainly find themselves around the ball often enough, but are simply disposed of too easily by opponents. Need to work on core strength over the off-season.

Rivers - strange everyone thought he was back near his best, I would disagree, he frustrated me yesterday and I thought he was beaten several times.

Jamar - would be one of the best contested mark's getting around.

I definitley thought he ( Rivers ) was a lot closer to his old self as compared some of the woefull outings of recent times. He ISNT his former self, but was better. Id still trade him though.

Posted

trading him might be going to extreme's I could think of many names you would trade before him. I just hope he gets a good injury free preseason in and is ready for 2010. For those that think he was anywhere near his former self don't have a very good memory, however yes he probably was better then other times throughout the year.

Once again, your hatred of McLean is staggering ;)

either youre on drugs.. youve got the wrong bloke..you espied condemned's response to Joey or just incpable of lucid thinking. Might be all.

Where do I hate McLean ?? You were at the same game I take it ?? He certainly wasnt amongst our best but thought he did some good things.

Care to explain..can you

Sylvia - better earlier, handy

I was at a mates house and needed to use the toilet. Nearing the end of doing the buissness i realized there was no toilet paper in the holder. For a fleeting moment i thought the worst as I searched the room for another roll. I had nearly given up when i found a fresh one hiding behind the toilet. I thought to my self, gee thats pretty HANDY.

Cant belive you have ranked our best player of the day along side the softness of a two ply kleenex toliet tissue

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
