The team is tired and desperately needs the bye to freshen up. As we played in the GF we (and the nose beers bulldogs) played the latest game into 2021 and had less of a break before 2022 season started. Logic would say we should have been in the group of teams that had the first bye, but why would the AFL use common sense and do that?

I'm sure there are numerous Dee's fans like myself, who were exceptionally disappointed that there were no CUB 2021 Melbourne Premiership Beer cans made and that Furphy only did a very limited run of theirs. I've gone ballz deep - been saving since I was born in 1964! - Framed signed premiership jumper, - GF style caps and numerous other style caps - HS posters - foil edition, limited number edition and several basic editions - beanies, scarves, stubbie holder, t shirts - car stickers - probably get the GF number plates too. Stuff it, I've earned it!

Lordy was my U/15 football coach at East Malvern Football club back in the late 70's. An absolute gentleman. As a Melbourne mad person it was awesome having him as the coach. RIP John.
