  2. Just left simmonds for my first game of the year, went with my brother and uncle who are diehard Geelong fans. Was great fun to stand up in a crowd of blue and white as a Melbourne supporter for once. Smashed them in the middle, well done to Gawn, vince and jones on huge games and vineys effort on Selwood was first class. Well done boys, proud to be a Melbourne supporter!

  3. Dwayne is hard to listen to at the best of times, his love of Port Adelaide and Geelong is equal only to his hatred of Melbourne. Today, you could hear the tears rolling down his cheeks, and the croak in his voice with every Melbourne goal got louder and louder. After Garlett kicked one of his many goals he proclaimed "dagger to the heart!" He was of course referring to himself. Well Dwayne, to show there are no hard feelings despite all this I will be sending you a small gift in the mail.

  5. Really loved at the end when Roos ran out on the ground, rounded up the players and led them to form a guard of honour for Enright. Fabulous moment! He made sure we showed our respected to a great of the game. Great leadership from Roos. We showed humility in victory...it was an incredibly proud moment. Well done Roos and our 22 fabulous players on the victory and on the respect shown. At last the 186 voodoo is dead! Hooray!

But this win goes to the leaders who atoned for last weeks lat 40 seconds, and then some. AND OH YEAH WE JUST SCORED 113 POINTS AT KARDINIA PARK AND BEAT GEELONG WITH NO HOGAN AND HALF OUR BEST 22 OUT Let that sink in!! WOW!!!!

  9. We played man on man. We beat them man on man. We cracked in and ran harder then they did. Our leaders led. Our young guys showed they refuse to be tainted by years passed. Our NQR players played their role and kept their ball handling simple. Still waiting for us to find a way to lose even though the game has been over for 30 minutes.

  15. A very happy day. The Dees beat the [censored] and my daughter is about to give birth to a grandson. Not sure which I'm more excited about. Don't tell my wife I said that. The whisky tastes good! A fresh bottle bought yesterday to wet the baby's head - not sure there's going to be much left. Ah well, there's always beer or champers.

  16. I am genuinely thrilled for Jack Watts. He finally looks as though he belongs and has found his position. He had the best smile at the end of the game - I think he genuinely loves the Dees.

  32. The best win since an injury ravaged Demons won against the odds against West Coast at Subiaco in 1998. I've been rapt with Watts' last 3 weeks. He's been so composed in traffic and under pressure it's been stark and for me almost unbelievable. He's still made the odd mistake, but everyone does. It's just so wonderful for the whole week when your team wins. Well done all.

  38. Hey Clint Lovely of you to give him his own thread. Utter moron, most annoying commentator around. As others said, his trouble is he just doesn't realise how stupid he is. He was one of the chorus leaders at the time of the tanking debacle. And the name. Is there a worse male name? It's like his parents had a discussion along the lines of: hmmm, this is a really dumb looking baby. What's the most appropriate name we can give it? How about Wayne? No, that doesn't capture the sublime stupidity of this baby. I know - let's stick a "der" in front of it. Late thought - sorry if this sounds disrespectful to any Demonlanders called Dwayne. I'm sure you wear it well. I have a rather unfortunate First name myself.
