Always...

1. Garland, Morton and Weetra have (another) game under their belt. Thought Garland fought admirably given the circumstances.

2. Bell wasn't horribly bad.

3. Moloney played the best I have seen him play since before his injury. Moved freely at last.

4. We have Bate, Rivers, Bartram, Sylvia, Dunn and Whelan to come back and replace some of our pathetic senior players who don't deserve to wear red and blue

5. No injuries!!!!

6. It can't get much worse... please oh please tell me it can't get much worse!

You can't be serious.

He was shocking. Pulled out of a contest in the midddle of the ground 2nd term. Put the hand brake on so hard he almost went backwards.

He looks to be another robbo in the making.

Morton can play, he would look a lot better in a competitive team. Paul Johnson took some good marks early. Thought Bruce and Green showed that they can still play, however Green seems to have the sulks and Bruce is easing back after knee trouble.

Bartram, Rivers and Whelan all played today and got through ok....all appeared to move freely and all played the bulk of the match...

Yes, Newton won't cut it.

On the contrary, I thought Newton battled hard. If he were in a decent team, I think he would be kicking a few goals.

Rodney Eade lost his first game coaching the swans in 1996 by 86 points and they looked like a rabble..... but they went on to make the grand final that year....

so anything is possible.

Did Dunn play?

Yep...and played pretty well...kicked a few goals including an excellent snap from 45 out...Holland marked everything that came his way...his kicking lets hin down a bit, but he takes a lot of contested marks

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

    Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50.     A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan.     Some veteran Demonland Trackwatchers ventured down to Gosch's Paddock to bring you the following observations from another Preseason Training Session. WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders.     Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9.
