We were woeful today and noone can hide from that but we all have 2 be a little realistic and look at things like the draw we have had. In the past 6 wks we have played 5 of the best teams in the comp and played the WCE in Perth. With a very young list and players looking forward to a break, I think a big loss was on the cards.
Newton just has to be given a chance now and for the rest of the year. Lynden Dunn and Brad Green should be played up forward as well. Dunn is just not a mid and we drafted him to be a forward and now is his chance.
Has anyone else noticed that the WCE seem to have fallen out of love with him?? I think he would be worth the punt to get back to Victoria. He's young and strong and would give us a CHF for 8-9 years? Thoughts??
Just wanted to post a positive from Saturday...bumped into Moloney just before the first bounce and wanted to give him some praise for stopping to say Hello and giving my 5 yr old son a handshake. Nice to see that even though the [censored] is hitting the fan atm he was nice enough to give a bit of his time. Commented on how my son reminded him of what he used to look like going to watch the DEES when he was a kid.
Could everyone plz stop potting Neitz as in my eyes he is the only one of our so-called "leaders" that has any pride in the jumper he plays in. The commitment of others should be questioned. Neitz is getting the most out of his body.
Couldn't agree more.....the strength that will come from this list is McLean, Bate, Dunn, Morton, Bartram etc...they should have traded at least 1 more last summer
The problem with our team is there is no accountability in the middle...the backmen can only do so much...SCARLETT and RUTTEN would have had 5 kicked on them 2day
