Are we talking next year?

I was sure the cut-off date to elevate rookies has long expired for 2007, besides why wait till now when we had long term injuries weeks ago...

The cut off date is next Thursday im pretty sure.

Don't think he'll play this week but a game or 2 before the year is out is very much on the cards.

They have to decide in the coming 5 games whether to give him the arse or elevate him.

And i'd prefer southwest thankyou very much.

Sweet Chilli. Tomato is just too bland

I have got into this peach chutney lately and its great on the sandwiches. Back to the topic, this could all be for the last game. Uplift all rookies Bode, Neaves, Hayes and the injured Bode and play them with Weetra in the last game against Carlton. Sheedy could then coach Cochin next year in the red and blue, not to mention the player we get in the trade for our 2nd round priority pick.

JACE BODE IS GONNA TEAR IT UP!!

BODEY FOR 2009 CAPTAIN

Just from the afl website

Young rookie Jace Bode has been named on the extended bench, after being elevated to the Clubs primary list during the week. Bode’s elevation comes after injured midfielder Clint Bartram was placed on the long term injury list. Bode is a quick and powerful midfielder, who has shown strong form with Sandringham in recent weeks. He is a tidy left foot kick, and if selected, will make his senior debut for the Melbourne Football Club.

Agree unless they have already made there mind up on Neaves and Hayes one way or the other.

Neaves played for Sandringham reserves this week, so I'd say he'd be longer odds than Godfrey for the Brownlow to make it

onto the senior list by the end of the year..

Neaves IMO should be re rookied as at present the JAMAR/PJ partnership is our immediate future. White's growing sabre tooth tiger sized 'canines' & has zilch upside for the clubs future.

We will hopefully recruit a top line 'tall' ruck, & allready have smart,in tucked away.

i'd like a look @ hughes but he's been out injured for so long he may not find form in time for elevation.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
