GAMEDAY: Rd 02 vs Fremantle

The only way we could win this game is if our opponent had form giving up 5 goal leads at quarter time.

Kings got some work to do on the defensive side of our game it seems…

Hopefully the loss tonight doesn’t ruin our percentage. Let’s fight for something positive here.

They should be on 70 rn

Maybe May was the better option.

Lever is lost.

Petty not doing much. Is he out there. Haven't seen him?

This has shades of that last smashing over there.

Freo moving through the middle with ease.

This could be really ugly.

Roo not holding them this week.

the afl loves to give us horrific umpiring when we're playing badly so that i can pretend we're not playing terribly

Turner standing up. Petty and Lever lost.

I saw this coming. We have been talked up in the media all week. This is the game that brings us back to reality and puts us in the negative spotlight. Was always going to happen.

one way traffic

quarter time can't come quick enough

Why is Lindsay on Treacy?

The reality bus is running over us and reversing multiple times.

Ps, Lindsay is not a defender.

This is as bad as we have looked in so so long.

Why is Lindsay even down there.

He is not a backman and never was.

Langford, not a wingman and never was.

Prelim 2018 flashback vibes.

I like our new offense but we obviously haven't had time to train the defense

23 to 7 i50s is damning

14 shots and 1 out on the full to 2 scoring shots….

GAME OVER!

ps, Lindsay is not a defender.

PPS I have Brayshaw in my SuperCoach! Yay!

  • PREVIEW: Gold Coast

Melbourne’s slow starts have been a troubling theme for a while. Against the Suns, they started slowly in both of their games, they trailed by 5.7.37 to 0.1.1 at quarter time at Peoples First Stadium in Round 16. This season, the story has remained the same and if the Demons fail to shake off this issue against the unbeaten Gold Coast Suns, they will be in serious danger of capitulating once again in their Easter Sunday showdown.

  • REPORT: Carlton

The text messages started flooding in shortly after quarter time. One read: “Is Melbourne even at the ground?” Moments later, as Carlton’s Elijah Hollands kicked the first goal of the second term, the Blues held a commanding 43-point lead. By then, the Demons’ only score was a behind kicked by Brody Mihocek nearly five minutes into the game. Ironically, Mihocek would also register the last minor score of the day after the game took a dramatic turnaround.
