If Onley is 197 then White is well over 200.

On Saturday he told me heโ€™s 6ft 7 and a half which is 206cm.

I'll try and get to the Thursday session as I'm based in Wodonga. Lot's of ex Demons have properties up this way. I ran into Rigoni and his brother and Schwarz at my work not long ago. Lever and a few other players also have properties in Bright which is why we've been using this area as a pre-season camp. Not to mention Spargo, Turner and Johnson are all from Albury.

Hey Daz, the training times are on the MFC website. McNamara Reserve, Myrtleford Thursday 9am-11am. But they'll probably be out a bit earlier knowing how they operate lol.

Thanks Ghostwriter Onley is listed at 195cm and 6โ€™8โ€ =2.032 m (203cm), sorry for being pedantic. However Kalani at 203cm is a great size for an athletic high jumping Ruck/Forward, we have a real weapon here couple him with Moose Heath and we have solved our biggest nightmare.

All good, DZ. Iโ€™m not great at conversion. All I know is that my neck aches from craning when talking to him ๐Ÿ˜… Same with Moose.

206cm is a bit over 6ft 9,. If he said he' 6ft 7, (and a bit) he's around 202cm.
Speaking as a 6ft 4 (and a bit) person who is only 194cm ๐Ÿ˜‰
Edit: Oops looks like others did maths first GW! ... soz

It would be silly to drive to bright for a closed training

As Melbourne supporters we all should know Myrtleford. You go through it on your way to the slopes.

I love bright

Always did. I used to do 50-60 days a year at Hotham or Falls from Melb inevitably via Milawa or Gapsted (and others). Met (is it Ben?) from Bright Brewery way back when he was starting out (fellow snowboarder). Bunnings up here stocked his stuff for a short period recently which was a treat.

cheese too!

Up in the northern rivers now so those days are sadly gone

  • NON-MFC: 2026 Opening Round

Finally the 2026 AFL Premiership Season is upon us. While Melbourne sits out Opening Round, there is still plenty of footy to enjoy with five non-MFC clashes to kick off the new season. It all begins on Thursday night with a blockbuster at the SCG as Sydney hosts Carlton in what should be a strong early test for both sides. On Friday night, Gold Coast gets its chance to open the season in front of a home crowd when the Suns and Christian Petracca take on Geelong at People First Stadium. Saturday features a double-header, starting in the afternoon with Greater Western Sydney and Clayton Oliver meeting the Hawks at Engie Stadium. That is followed on Saturday night by Brisbane Lions hosting the Western Bulldogs at the Gabba, with the Lions embarking on their campaign to win the Threepeat. Opening Round wraps up on Sunday night at the MCG, where St Kilda takes on Collingwood in the only game in town in the first week of the season. There is no shortage of storylines across the round, so discuss all the action from the non-MFC games of Opening Round.
