He'll kick a bag (5) in a dees jumper, before Jefferson does

PS Apologies to Matt and I hope I'm dead wrong. In round 1 no less.

Yes my mistake, as Mickey has pointed out, it is Finn Callaghan who is Howes’ mate.

He may not have come this year but this thread produced some of the best GIF work ever seen on any forum anywhere. Sure a few thought they could pull off the 4 GIF post and failed but there was plenty of truly excellent double and triple GIF work. If he puts his name in the ring again we must stand a chance considering our potential draft hand and cash in cap at year's end.

Presumptuous lot at Demonland, HE DOESN'T EVEN PLAY FOR US! I've heard a rumour.... the best Full Forward in the league wants to play with us___________ (insert name) and he will kick 100 goals for us in 2027!

So.... you're sayin' there's a chance....

Will be a Hawk based on what I heard.

Was sort of hoping Hawks landed Merrett because it would’ve left them without any trade capital for Humphrey this year. Why you’d join Melbourne over Hawthorn right now? Can’t think of anything really. Last year was the chance !

I can think of a couple of reasons not to join the hawks off the top of my head

Their supporters

Their guernsey

I’m sure there are plenty of others

In the end i'd rather the Hawks go after him. There's a few good Free Agents this year. Butters, comes to mind. i think he is 50/50 he leaves. I think they are at a cross-roads. Similar to where we were 2 years ago. They will try and fight through it as we did, but will likely arrive at the same conclusion that there list (albeit better balanced than ours was) has holes all over the park and will take some trading / drafting to get right. They are next in line after Collingwood and Geelong that will require a rebuild.
