You can add Salem and Oliver to the list.

Oliver was excellent today. Insanity in the air.

Try looking at what he does with the ball and without the ball, not the stats. The modern game does not suit him unless they can find another role type.

I gave this comment the big thumbs down yet my name appeared next to Like icon. Definitely a Thumbs Down from me.

Pickett how is Blighty? From the flurry of posts it seems you’re still ensconced in the Qantas business lounge at Heathrow. If you manage to convince His Majesty’s Immigration & Customs of your bona fides? You should get out more. Bask in the pommie sunshine and see the sights.

Some Perspective Please.

After a dramatic week, the boys gave it a good shot and just fell short. I saw some strong positives come out of the game for us. The young blokes showed plenty. Jed needs to be given more chances and get the rhythm of the big time. Jai keeps showing really good signs. Langford is a star now, but will be elite.

Tmac was so solid and perhaps Naughton would not have got 5, if Maysie or Lever were in. Disco was great in my opinion. We still see basic errors, but I am loving the run and dare. A lot to work on for the 'new coach', but in a very positive way.

Gday mate now in Edinburgh Scotland last night for dinner at local restaurent had Haggis, Black Pudding, and Marlecake! Too many reds, and charmed the life out of the Barmaid, who said she had never met any Aussie so upfront! Mrs Fence not overly impressed but all went and is going well!!

Viney, a premiership hero and worth his weight in Gold. Disparaged by loose Canon "supporters".

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

It’s late February. Two teams widely predicted to finish near the foot of the AFL table in 2026 face off against each other in sweltering 30-degree heat deep in outer suburbia in a match simulation with fresh new faces and uneven team numbers. There are no nearby sheep stations on offer; the result promises nothing more than bragging rights for the winner. Nevertheless, the loser appears hopelessly adrift, whereas the other seems to have found its footing after a couple of years of struggle – perhaps a hint at bigger things to come?
