Making it all the more wrong if he was involved in this decision.

Richardson should’ve been the first to go imo.

Everything about the FD is poor.

I just wonder if Richo has also accepted his fate.

I wonder how we can afford to sack so many well paid contracted senior members of our footy department.

Brad Green was a great player and captain but he comes across as a President out of his league. He doesn’t instil confidence or stability. Hopefully Steven Smith has the maturity and business nouse to truly lead this club to a place of power. This changeover can’t happen soon enough.

🤔🤔 1st, 2nd ... 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Goody's relationship with our senior players is very special and was both a positive and a negative thing in the end.

Also lol at this drive by around the Casey facilities.

Bang, Goody gave the drive to Casey a slap on the way out lol.

How the club and the board have gone about this is so poor. Right decision, [censored] execution and [censored] timing

A backhander to our administration in failing to secure a home base in his tenure.

I actually applaud Brad Green for being quite courageous in this decision. He's a little bit on a hiding to nothing here and I know I certainly had asked the question: had he the cohunas?? Well that's been resoundingly answered.

A hard decision to have to make. I salute you 🫡

Got to say, goody coming across very well in this presser.

Goody pointedly praising certain individuals (PJ, Mahoney) for creating stability at the club for a 6 year period.

clear message - there has not been stability for the past 3 years

Good on Brad for fronting up but Steven Smith will be the driving force behind this.

He's copped a lot of [censored], but I think he's always been a club and player first in everything he has said publicly.

With all the challenges he has never waivered in his positivity or unwavering support of his players.

but no mention of Paul Roos...

Goody will be high on the list of candidates for any club looking for a head of footy

I disagree - i think its the wrong decision, but if it was to be done, it is the right timing.

Steve Smith has a massive job - not sure a cushy MCC job and a long holiday is the right lead up.

I hope Brad Green is telling porkies that we havent already got a plan re a replacement

He was simply incapable of fixing our forward line problems and that was his downfall

I for one am shocked that Tom Fullarton and Shane McAdam weren’t the answers.

Well said Goody at the end. Thank you.

I reckon Richo also knows he is gone, thought it was strange that he was spoken to at all.

These things are never easy. In the end it was done well enough for me. Clearly Brad isnt the best spokesman, but i think he is just nervous and trying to calm his emotion at the outcome.

Goody was the ultimate professional and it will be tough seeing him at a different team.
