In somewhat of a win, we’ve hired Adrian Anderson.

Shirley you can't be serious.

I note Anderson lost another one last week

He is the Tom Gillies of player advocates....with more exposed form

it’s a [censored] joke the tribunal is not tonight

that means the appeal will be thursday night when the round is already underway

Any reason for it not being tonight???

He was concussed and can't play this week anyway.

Yes, May was concussed and Dees wanted him to have another day to recover, before giving evidence in a stressful environment.

Seriously how many times can he stick his knee with all his weight into people - multiple multiples not even including the petracca incident. That is disgraceful from Moore - obviously deliberate- after Petracca he knows just dangerous his knees are. This should be absolutely called out. Michael Christian is a [censored] cheating [censored] when it comes to his beloved Collingwood

Yeh look I don’t get the difference in play…

A hit that’s an accident which injure a player, I think if they’re going to ban for injury, regardless of how they should be banned.

May clearly didn’t have intent or malice and will probably (even though i vehemently disagree with it) cop weeks.

Moore will argue his knee also wasn’t intentional..

I guess I don’t really see the difference if both “could be avoided”.

They say May should have chosen to tackle or avoid in general. So it should be the same for Moore if he continues to knee everyone in the back.

What your thoughts?

May concussed makes more sense that non concussed May

Adrian's gotta watch Dennis Denuto in the castle one more time to get the vibe right for the defence.

It's.. the vibe.. right?

I'm not joking about hiring Adrian Anderson. The Midweek tackle on Fox Footy mentioned it.

I am joking about the 'somewhat of a win' comment.

Attention Paul Guerra

First job when you get into office is to delete Adrian’s number. In fact, burn the phone book.

[censored]

When you look at it May's original position was to take the ball in a chesk mark position but instead of the ball bouncing forward it bounced up when the blues player had it May's arm were still in a chest marking position even through the contact if he gets rubbed out for this then players might as well wear tutu's.

Tribunal LIVE: The ‘key’ reason Dees are ‘convinced’ May will get off big ban

What time does the appeal start tomorrow night?

Think i'll skip entree and go straight to the main course

@Lucifers Hero as I said yesterday the AFL is seeking a 3 week ban, which fits exactly within the guidelines of the charge being careless, high contact and severe impact.

My guess is that the MRO knew we’d argue the careless part and hence it’s gone to the tribunal.

If this useless lawyer can argue his actions weren’t careless he will get off

  • PREVIEW: West Coast

It was bad enough that the Melbourne Football Club created yet another humiliating scenario inside its wretched season at Marvel Stadium last Sunday, but the final insult is that it has been commanded to return to the scene of the crime to inflict further punishment on its fans this week. Incidentally, if this match preview, of a game that promises to be one of the most unattractive fixtures in the history of the game, happens to cut out of your computer screen three quarters of the way through, it’s no coincidence. I’ll be mirroring the Demons’ lacklustre effort against St Kilda from last Sunday when they conceded the largest last quarter turnaround for victory in the history of the game.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

When looking back at the disastrous end to the game, I find it a waste of time to concentrate on the final few moments when utter confusion reigned. Forget the 6-6-6 mess, the failure to mark the most dangerous man on the field, the inability to seal the game when opportunities presented themselves to Clayton Oliver, Harry Petty and Charlie Spargo, the vision of match winning players of recent weeks in Kozzy Pickett and Jake Melksham spending helpless minutes on the interchange bench and the powerlessness of seizing the opportunity to slow the tempo of the game down in those final moments.
