As has already been commented, those 23 disposals only gave us 266 metres gained. 11th most for us. He should be higher than that given the position he plays.

IMO heโ€™s getting cheap and easy kicks and dishing off cheap and easy kicks. We need our half backs to drive us forward, and I donโ€™t think heโ€™s doing that.

that is true but his leadership and calm head are good for us. He is not close to being dropped imo

Where's Charlie?

you could make a claim for 5-6 established players to be dropped. salem, Fritsch, sparrow, chin. even langdon

not really. following sports teams involves much more disappointment than enjoyment. its just the nature of it.

Indeed.

It's all about the journey.

Fritsch continuing to be selected is a DISGRACE,!! Burns other players, is extremely selfish, and a very lazy footballer!

Suddenly my interest in this game has gone from โ€œlittleโ€ to โ€œzeroโ€.

Underwhelming INs to be honest. I'm probably the odd one out but I'm not overly upset if Jeffo gets another week at it.

It won't happen but I really want to see Tom Campbell given a second ruck role, let JVR just be a bloody forward for a day. The trade off could be that we leave Jeffo out, plonk TC up forward as a tall target.

We really should be winning this and if we don't, Goody should feel really uncomfortable going into Monday. I'm not totally on the sack Goody side of things but losing to North twice has to fall on his shoulders.

This is the most depressing post Iโ€™ve ever seen on Demonland.

So the Sub has been omitted from last week.

The ins include a Ruckman, Tall Defender, small forward and a winger.

Reading inbetween the lines, Windsor will come in & Tholstrup will Be sub.

Staggering how Tholstrup remains in the team this week.

Exactly. I have slid from gruntled to very disgruntled on Tholstrup. Hope he gets my gruntled back but I doubt it.

I reckon Campbell plays.

Could be for Jefferson, unless they drop Tholstrup and still play the 3 talls.

In my view, these inclusions, are just plain baffling , how do these inclusions help us to prepare for 2026.

I fear there is some thing being hidden from the supporting base. Injuries or discontent.?

Has TMac told the coaching staff GAGF ?

Best 23. I donโ€™t think so

Jefferson canโ€™t be omitted now.

They already nominated who was dropped it was Sharp.

He can still be omitted, final team selections aren't made official until 5pm today.

Blake Howes or Caleb Windsor would be one of the ins for Sharp and then weather they decide to make any more changes from there then who knows.

Jeffo needs a consistent run, and vs Norf is an opportunity to get into some form! No sense him being an emergency when game time in the ones or at Casey is what he needs right now!

Completely underwhelming potential inclusions. Windsor is obviously best 22 when fit and firing, but not sure he is. Henderson isn't up to it and has done nothing at Casey. We're already carrying enough defenders without adding Howes into the mix. And as much as I'd like to see a Gawn-Campbell combo, both are almost 34 and Campbell hardly represents our future.

It's sad when Tholstrup and Jefferson look like good alternatives by comparison.

Why aren't we having a look at Brown, Woewodin or Culley at this point of the season?

Which one is it? You want us to pick players for the future, or you want us to pick TMac?

Salem is now something of an enigma. To me he doesn't actually do a lot wrong... but somehow the pizazz he once had has faded. He used to be very good at setting up that 'next' movement. Now .. I'm not really sure , they don't seem to impact as much. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Heโ€™s slow and whilst a good user of the footy heโ€™s not a big kick.

Salem has introduced the floating chip into his game which in turn puts his teammates further down the ground under pressure. He is no longer a reliable defender these days.

Wrong.

They have to name whoโ€™s omitted on the Thursday for a Sunday game.

Iโ€™m fairly confident this isnโ€™t right.

He is very reliable. One of our few

He is not very damaging or quick but with an efficiency over 90% his kicks land.

the constant criticism of Salem is baffling to me. He is not our best player but he is solid and the least of our problems. With the issues we have such as the forward line and midfield it is bizarre that Salem gets singled out

I'm 100% confident

Why bother with an extended bench if you can't change it? It's been this was for as long as I can remember.

You can 100% omit a player from the bench on friday night for a sunday game

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmyโ€™s inclusive bannerโ€”"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwoodโ€™s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.ย

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecastโ€”20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze โ€” expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kateโ€™s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwoodโ€™s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
